Good Friday day trippers left high and dry at the Port of RosslareDate 10-04-1998... There were a lot of passengers at the Port of Rosslare Harbour because the Ferry Companies told them that they could not go on board the ships because there were over 1,000 passengers in the Port of Fishguard in Wales waiting to come back home to Ireland. These passengers were left in the Port of Fishguard due to the bad weather on Thursday. The Ferry Companies feared that if they allowed all the Day-Trippers on board, the ships would become overcrowded on the return sailing from Fishguard Port. |
