Canon EOS 50E

Review
I am proud to be a Canon user. I started photography back in my university days. People have been asking me why I have chosen this "expensive hobby"? The reason being very simple - PASSION! My first camera was the Minolta X-700 which was a fully manual camera. Howver, I didn't like it at all, simply because I didn't have the patient to focus the lens manually & the winding of the film, just to name a few. No doubt it has some merits but it was not my cup of tea afterall. Therefore, I sold it away.
Next, I bought the EOS 500 for a start to semi-automatic camera. I used it for one year plus before trading it for its successor EOS 500N. Actually, there wasn't much differences between the two in terms of fuctionality. Finally, I made up my mind to get a reasonable good camera. I was deciding on the pro cameras such as the EOS 5 or EOS 3. After a much consideration, I decided to buy the EOS 50E. Why I didn't choose the former two? First of all, EOS 5 is considered the "old techonlogy", it can't make use of some of the latest features of the EX flashes. I would consider it a minor problem. While the EOS 3 is too pro for me. I didn't need to use such a sophisticated camera. Hence, I chosen the EOS 50E which was the mid range of the two.
