Thundercats HO! The Movie (5 part series)

Lion-O wakes up from an awful nightmare he has been having about leaving Thundera. He remembers leaving some of his fellow Thunderians on Thundera because the ship could not stay any longer. Jaga appears to him and explains that they did not perish, and that they are on third earth. Anxious to find them, Lion-O asks Cheetara to use her psychic powers to find their location. Mumm-Ra, overhearing this news, send the Berserkers to capture the Thunderians, and bring them to him. He captures them, and has them sent to Fire Rock mountain (otherwise known to the thundercats as thundrainium). Weakened by the thundrainium, the thunderians are hopeless. Lion-O, unable to get past the thunrainium to save them uses the power of the star of thundera to cancel the effects of the thundrainium. Mumm-ra sends Grune to stop Jaga from getting the power of the star for Lion-O, but Grune fails. After giving the stars power to Lion-O, Mumm-Ra manages to steal it from him. Mumm-Ra, trying to possess the stars powers, instead gets destroyed by the stars power. Lion-O saves the thunderians, and anoints them as Thundercats. Bengali, the white tiger, Pumyra, the female puma, and Lynxo the blind lynx.

Mumm-Ra Lives! (5 part series)

Part I

The Thundercats think that they have destroyed Mumm-Ra for good. Little do they know that he survived. He returns to his tomb with the help of Ma-Mutt, and is too weak to do anything. So he transforms Ma-Mutt into an image of himself, and sends this image to order the mutants to release the Lunatacs.

Part II

The Lunatacs have been freed by the mutants. Mumm-Ra joins forces with them to destroy the Thundercats, and after doing so, they would rule third earth together. The Lunatacs meet the Thundercats in battle, and prove to be much stronger than them. In fact, Tug-Mug, one of the Lunatacs manages to break the sword of omens in half. Bengali however manages to reforge it since he is a Thundarian Blacksmith.

Part III

The Lunatacs build their fortress with the help of the brute men. They call it Sky-Tomb, and not only is it powerful, but it can travel through the air. It is a mobile fortress. The Thundercats ask the Berbils to help them build a new structure called the Tower of Omens, that would help them easily locate the position of Sky Tomb, and stop the Lunatacs as fast as possible.

Part IV

Young Snarfer, Snarfs nephew, arives on third earth. His ship has gone off course though and landed in territory of the Lunatacs. The Lunatacs manage to capture Snarfer, and the Thundercats must venture into Darkside to save young Snarfer so he can work in the Tower of Omens.

Part V

Lion-O, Panthro, Tygra, and Pumyra set out to Darkside to free the slaves the Lunatacs have imprisoned. In doing so, they get captured. Cheetara and Lynxo set out to Sky Tomb to save them. The Thundercats see Mumm-Ra for the first time after his "death" at Sky Tomb, and discover that he cannot be harmed by his own reflection anymore. The ancient spirits of evil have made him more powerful when they revived him. They Thundercats manage to escape, and leave the Lunatacs fighting amongst themselves.

The Mad Bubbler, an ancient creature of third earth who lives in an old Thundrilium mine on hook mountain has the power to turn all creatures into evil beings, and making people accept his moddo - "destroy, or be destroyed". He manages to seduce the Lunatacs to fight against each other, and afterwards Panthro, Tygra, and Cheetarah. They fall under the bubblers power and begin fighting each other to the death. Lion-O, observing these occurrences through the sword of omens finds out from Jaga that snarfs are not capable of evil. He summons Snarf and Snarfer and tell them to retrieve the Thundercats from the mine so that they can be returned to their normal selves.

Back visiting their old wreckage site, Lion-O and Snarf stumble upon the Thunder-scope, a legendary thunderian telescope that locates lost thunderians, and their belongings. Mumm-Ra, interested in the Thunder-scope so he could find the treasure of thundera, ambushes Lion-O. He actualy kills him in this scene. The Last Day

Leah

The Ancient Spirits of Evil bring the Mirror Rape to Mumm-Ra, and he disguises it as a child's toy. Mumm-Ra then intercepts a thunderian escape pod which carries in it a little girl. He gives the toy to the child (Leah), and leaves. She is rescued by the Thundercats, and goes into New Cat's Lair with the doll. The doll turns into the Mirror Rape when left alone, and begins to destroy Cat's Lair, and the Thundercats have no clue where the evil Mirror Rape came from.

Frogman

Wily Kit and Kat are constructing a well for the New Cat's Lair on New Thundera. The Thundercats on New Thundera receive a distress signal from Thunderian refugees trying to find their way to New Thundera. The Kittens are left alone with Snarf on at the New Cat's Lair, and Lion-O and Snarfer are out constructing an early warning device (I guess for weather purposes). The rest of the Thundercats seek out the refugees in space. When Wily Kit and Kat strike water, they accidentally unleash a monster that Jaga trapped in the underground lake centuries ago. Frogman, with aquatic powers, tries to sink the New Cats Lair. Lion-O however re-traps Frogman in his watery prison.

The Heritage

Wily Kit and Kat, exploring New Thundera, stumble upon an Orb of Gold, and pick it up thinking that it is a part of their Heritage. Possessed by the power of the Golden Sphere of City, the ThunderKittens get greedy, and let the power of the orb overcome them. Mumm-Ra manages to get a hold of the orb, and his powers get four times more powerful. He gets so powerful, he destroys the Sword of Omens. Jar, the scrap metal collector reforges it for Lion-O. He gets so powerful that he challenges the power of the ancient spirits of evil. They lock him out of his pyramid until he surrenders the Orb to them. The spirits of evil let him back in, but destroy the Golden Sphere of City.

Screw Loose

Jaguara cannot work New Thundera's Gyro on her own. The Thundercats order a robot to aid her in running the Gyro. Screw Loose, a robot who specializes in Gyros, comes to New Thundera. Mumm-Ra manages to mess up Screw Looses brain so he becomes destructive instead of helpful. The Thundercats must help Jagara get Screw Loose under control, before the entire planet is destroyed (again).

Malcar

Mumm-Ra summons Malcar, an ancient alchemist, to return from the dead. The alchemist returns old and weak, as he was when he died. Mumm-Ra takes him to the forest of youth to restore his youth and power. Malcar regains his powers, and uses them against the Thundercats.
