Abhors slavery; greatly values freedom.

Background:
Born in Kitharon, Samoset (an island on Lyrolth that's kinda like Greece and kinda like Hawaii). She survived in Kitharon as a Thief. After a while, she got tired of being a Thief and left Samoset on a boat (i.e. she stowed away) that was bound for the Calatian mainland. Eventually, her travels brought her to LongFang, where she met Langsharra--who offered to teach her magic. Kuwani agreed to be Langsharra's apprentice.

Kuwani's "vague resemblance" to a certain Rescue Ranger wasn't entirely unintentional. The name "Kuwani" (and the basic concept of the resulting character) was created when I tongue-tripped while trying to say "Lawhiney". David said something to the effect of, "Kuwani? Who is that? Lawhiney's AD&D universe self?" I replied that it could be; maybe she wears an indigo tunic and carries a dagger. This turned into a running gag and, eventually, this non-player character.

Special Notes: Kuwani's "TongueSpeak Ring" allows her to communicate with virtually any living creature (No, she can't speak "Lich"!). Due to a quirk, the Ring is not affected by acid of any type and cures/bestows color-blindness. 1
