Trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute and the Stella Adler Conservatory, Ubach has had a number of roles on stage and a few Danish on screen during her young career, including starring and featured roles in a number of television series and films. She co-starred in PBS' "Los Alvarez" and Ivan Reitman's "Palm Beach." Alanna also co-starred in the FBC pilot "Mom," Aaron Spelling's ABC pilot "Just Life," and the CBS/FBC series "Esme." She guest-starred on NBC's "The Torkelson's" and was a featured performer in the HBO special "Billy Crystal: Midnight Train to Moscow." Busy little lady. Alannna's theatrical appearances include her critically acclaimed performance in "Club Soda" at New York's WPA Theater and "This Property is Condemned" at the Olio Theater in Los Angeles. Her ballet training enabled her to star as Clara in "The Nutcracker Suite" at the Bellflower Arts Center in Long Beach California and enabled her to tiptoe onto the set when she was late. You've also seen Alanna in "The Brady Bunch Movie" as Noreen, Marcia's best friend; as Danny De Vito's daughter Emily in "Renaissance Man"; and Whoopi Goldberg's sassy pupil Maria in "Sister Act II." She has four films that are about to be released: "Denise Calls Up," in which Alanna has the lead and title role, which film won a special mention at the Cannes Film festival, 1995 and which will be released by Sony Film Classics; and "Virtuosity" with Denzel Washington; "Layin' Low," in which she stars with Jeremy Piven. She has also guest starred on several acclaimed television series, including "ER" and "L.A. Law," and has done many movies of the week, after-school specials and pilots. And home movies!
