although he IS a recurring player. I believe his last on air time was

Even though the magazines are reporting RJ having a story with Nora
as she recouperates from her coma, rumors are flying that Tim has
left the show. Us Gannon fans have taken plenty of shots of hope and disappointment over the years. Tim's portrayal of a man who we barely
know has been the core of this character. Certainly no writing has ever
been worthy of the talent he brought to this show.
As a long time fan, as heartbreaking as it would be to NOT have Tim as
our RJ, I almost feel relief for Tim if this is the case. How has he
dealt with the fact that the fans ALWAYS wanted to see more of him, and
the writing never gave him the time of day? Will post confirmation of any
news as soon as possible. In the meantime,take the time to write Tim to tell him THANK YOU for sharing his talent with us daytime fans as long as he did.

What a treat to turn on OLTL and see that beautiful face of TDS!
Always a sight to behold and the man delivers whatever hokey line with class or bad a$$ whatever the story calls for.
I admit, have not watched the show in so long it is hard to think about trying to tune in again but as long as TDS is still there AND in a story with Catherine Hickland I'm interested!
And hes going Baaaaad again?
Then I think about how many times us fans have been disappointed by the terrible writing.
HOWEVER
Tim still makes me wanna watch

Where is RJ? Out of my love for Tim, I come to this page because otherwise the sadness overwhelms me to think about this powerhouse of a presence being wasted! But sadly, that has been the case for him for so long. Do they ever wonder why this man STILL TO THIS DAY has so many fans? DUH!

More than a year has gone by since I have done anything at this site. I am glad tosee that there is a more current site for Timothy on the web. I have to confess that I hardly watch OLTL anymore. I am still not satisfied that with the amount of airtime TDS gets. I don't even by Soap Mags anymore. Joi, keep up the good work! Joi's Web Page for Timothy.

Well here it is, almost the end of May. I was so excited to see the creators of the Gannon Brothers return to OLTL. I was thinking that for sure they would resurrect these Fabulous men. No such luck that I can see. Instead Nora has now taken over as assistant DA, and that has spelled death to Hank Gannon. Suddenly, because it's Nora, you're seeing her involved in all investigations. She's everywhere. Hank's still bringing coffee, or was that chocolate covered mints to Bo, too? Sad, sad, sad.
As for RJ, I am not sure what's going on with him. He's back to being a criminal. He has everyone believing that his daughter and granddaughter are dead just to keep them away from Antonio. For a few fleeting moments I thought that with the return of Dorian to Llanview we would see more of RJ; or that the partnering of RJ and Max in his new club Capricorn would warrant him more air time. Sadly, we're not seeing a whole heck of a lot of either RJ or Max.
Anyway, I am sort of tuning but not paying much attention.

Good NewS!!! Effective November 4, 2002, Josh Griffith and Michael Malone will be returning as Headwriter (JG) and creative consultant (MM). This talented writing team created Nora, Hank, Rachel, and RJ Gannon; not to mention Todd Manning and Marty Saybrooke. He paired Blair and Todd. I am so looking forward to their return and hopefully, the Gannon Brothers will finally get their due.

I guess there's truth in that saying "Be careful what you ask for." Honestly, I really wanted Liz Reynolds to come to town. Not this Liz Reynolds, but an African American Liz Reynolds. A Liz Reynolds where I knew that there just might be a possibility of she and RJ rekindling their young love. Even if the romance didn't work out, I still wanted to see these two people wonder if the "SPARK" was still there.
You just don't know how upset I was when I saw Keri's mother. I have to be honest I have never pictured RJ's former lover as a blonde; maybe a light skinned African American, but never a blonde. I always figured RJ's attraction to Nora years ago had more to do with his revenge against Hank; and that through the years he grew to love Nora for Nora.
Then to make matters worse they have this woman hop in bed with Antonio. Isn't it bad enough that RJ's daughter is in love with Antonio? And what mature woman in this day and age would hop in bed with a complete stranger, no names exchanged, just bodily fluids. I am sorry I am really upset with OLTL. The PTB haven't shown either RJ or Hank with a woman for years now, and Antonio gets to hop in bed with his fiance's mother, and his brother's wife. Did I miss anyone?
One more thing -- please write to Brian Frons. I received this e-mail from a friend.
I don't know if you know this or not, but every fan base out there is writing Brian Frons the new head of ABC Daytime.
They are either complaining about the destruction of the show, or the destruction of their favorite characters. He has responded to many of them, telling them to give them their characters' histories.
If you haven't done so already, I'm suggesting that you write him, and that you push others to write for RJ and Hank.

Hello all!!! Well at one point there were some nervous TDS fans out there, me included. RUMOR had it that TDS was leaving the show. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. Well, I think it's fortunate. I can only hope that PTB have promised TDS RJ's story with Liz Reynolds.
I do have to admit that I am not watching OLTL much lately. They've worn me down with all those bland young ones and Niki/Viki revisited for the billionth time. Now I have nothing against young people on the show but dang make them interesting.
Let's go down memory lane -- some interesting young cast members. Kevin, Joey, Kelly, Todd, Marty, Cristian, Jessica, Eddie, and Javier.
I had such high hopes because Lorraine Broderick had joined the writing team. |
