Little Things that make me go Hmmmm... Yep, I agree with Max. RJ agreed with Jacara just a little too easily and I am disappointed in Jacara for thinking that it would be that simple. I mean let's get a grip; this woman ended their partnership in one fell swoop because RJ made a decision without consulting her first. Now she is willing to believe that RJ will take Charlie Patterson off her hands just like that?! 11/11/97 RJ is going after Max...ah yes, sweet revenge! RJ did not look happy at all while watching Jacara sing. I think he was the only one not enjoying the show...and I certainly sympathize with the man. All I can say is that after three years, finally, RJ gets to kiss someone. That it is Jacara is beside the point, but at least we know the man can kiss. (LOL) My disappointment is that PTB cut away too quickly. What is UP with That?" I had to rewind a couple times just to make sure I wasn't imagining it. I felt cheated -- how long have we been waiting for RJ to get involved with a woman and just when it looks like it is getting good they cut away to MAX and Blair? Oh Puhleeze!!!!! Give me a Break. I had to laugh though because I did think that they looked a bit uncomfortable. That doesn't mean I don't want to see more. I couldn't believe it though when Jacara said she will "JUST" ask Max if he was financially solvent. Does she really expect this man to be honest? This is a man who is a gambler and hadn't he gotten involved with LOANSHARK RJ long before Jacara came to town; and Jacara expects this man to be honest? And when she does ask Max if he has the money, of course he says yes and SHE BELIEVES HIM! What kind of business woman is she? RJ told her about Max not only because he doesn't want her to go into business with Max and he wants her back, but he does care about her. Hmmmm....why would you ask him and expect the truth when Max is so hot to go into business with her? Why not have a finanacial background check done on him? I am just loving this storyline. All I can say is Go! RJ Go!

RJ Gannon Week of 11/24/97 -- Sorry I have been really busy but I all I can say is that I am sooo hapyy that RJ was not involved in the kidnapping of Max's twins. I knew deep down inside that when he said he wanted Max broken he wasn't thinking of Max's kids being used. 11/21/97 RJ welcomes Tea and Andrew to his "not so busy" club. Tea asks who is performing and he has to tell them no one. Later as RJ sits at the bar watching Tea and Andrew in a deep conversation, he decides to send them a bottle of the Club's best wine. Curious Wendi wonders why RJ is feeling so generous and RJ responds with "He isn't but someone should enjoy it before it turns bad." Either 11/14/97 or 11/15/97Tommy Gregory made a visit to Jacara to talk about her new talent Charlie Patterson. She informs him that he is no longer signed to Blue J because her partnership with RJ is no longer valid. Tommy and her exchange words, yada yada yada and then he leaves. Jacara makes her appearance at Club Indigo to let RJ know that she wants Tommy off her back. RJ says no problem he likes Charlie Patterson and that he will take him. Jacara seemed a bit surprised, but RJ said that they need to keep that competitive edge going. Jacara leaves and heads straight to Max's home and relates her conversation with RJ to him and Max thinks that it went all to easy. 11/11/97 (I think): Max talked Jacara into singing at Rodi's and she agreed to sing only one time. She went over to Club Indigo to invite Rachel. RJ showed up, saw Jacara and immediately thought that Jacara was coming back to him. She informed that she just came to return his flowers. She also invited Rachel over to Rodi's to see her show, but that was before RJ came in. After Jacara exits Rachel says maybe someday he and Jacara can be friends, and RJ says no, it is too late for that. After Rachel leaves he throws the flowers. Later at Rodi's while Jacara is singing RJ shows up, and he sees Rachel in the audience. He stays in the background as he watches; then exits to make a quick call to someone unknown, asks them if they know who Max Holden is; he listens for responses, then replies "No I don't want him dead, I just want him broke." 11/5/97 RJ shows up at Jacara's hotel room where Nora and Jacara are going over her partnership contract with Max. Jacara opens the door thinking that it is room service and there stands RJ. Smiling, he compliments her on how beautiful she looks and Nora appears and says "Thank you". RJ is immediately annoyed and responds with something to the effect that Nora doesn't have a life so she has to get all up in his. Go RJ. Nora tells RJ she doesn't like him hanging around her client; RJ tells Nora that this is Jacara's room and it isn't Nora's call to make. Jacara finally says something and tells Nora she can handle it. Nora runs off but not before she puts in a little jab about going over to Rodi's to see Max to go over "their" (Max and Jacara's) contract. Finally she leaves and RJ tells Jacara that he is still angry and hurt. He believes that she wanted out of their partnership because she was scared. Jacara denies it she wanted out because he lied to her. He tells her that she can't deny that something was happening between them, and then he "KISSES" her. At first Jacara acts as if she is going to resist but she gives in. Unfortunately the cameras cut away to Max and Blair just when the KISS was getting good. By the time show returns to their scene the kiss is over. I forget most everything that was said when we finally came back to Jacara and RJ but RJ did tell Jacara that Max has no money. She naturally doesn't believe him and says "She is going to ask him". 11/03/97 Jacara is at Rodi's talking with Max and Blair. If I remember correctly, they are talking about Rodi's and the possibility of a partnership. RJ walks in and sees the "Three Mousketeers" at the bar. By the look on RJs face you can tell he is not happy to say the least. Jacara takes his look as a challenge and decides right then and there that she is going to be partners with Max. Max breaks open the champagne and makes a toast as he introduces his new business partner to everone in Rodi's. RJ is sitting in a booth where he has them in view; from the way RJ looks nothing needs to be said. The "MAN" is furious. Blair takes one look at him and has enough sense to tell Max that there is only one person that scares her, and it isn't Asa. IT is RJ. In the meantime, Rachel is at Tea's telling her about Jacara and RJs partnership breaking up and why. Rachel also lets Tea know that Jacara is staying in Llanview and is planning to team up with Max. Tea tells Rachel that that may not happen because she just heard while at the Diner, from Asa, that Max has no money. Rachel's face lights up, leaves, and catches up with RJ at Rodi's. Rachel can hardly wait to tell RJ about Max's financial position. When RJ hears the news he is just as delighted as Rachel was when she heard it -- you can tell the "MAN" can't wait to tell Jacara.
