(This is my senior picture. I look like a
regular Miss America wannabe. Ha!)
My name is Lori. I was born in 1979 in Hopewell, Virginia (technically, the hospital was in Petersburg, but I was living in Hopewell. Let's not get crazy over details). My father was working as a promotion producer at the time of my birth, so I was pretty much born with TV in my blood. When I was a little girl, I used to watch The Prevue Channel on cable and make up my own voice-overs for the movie trailers. At 13, I taught myself how to edit with my camcorder and a VCR. That's still my favorite hobby. I currently work as a freelance production assistant. I've worked on several training films for Coastal Training Technologies . (You want to know about respirator safety? I can tell you about respirator safety. And let's not even get started on forklifts...), and wroked in various capacities for the children's television program "The Knock Knock Show". I admire Greg Kinnear (He turned a low-profile cable show into a launching pad to movies. Come on!), Dick Clark (one of the pioneers), and the late Brandon Tartikoff (forever a legend).
This is just me goofing off. Trust me, though, a slate
can be your best friend. If you click on the picture,
you can see the full screen version of it. It's
huge. Very scary.

You are visitor number to visit this little place I call home since I had to reset my counter on 12/20/97. I know it isn't much, but I swear I had a lot of people visit before the stupid counter went nuts. Please tell all your friends to visit my page so I can get my numbers up to a respectable level.

The midi file I currently have as my background music is "King of Wishful Thinking" by Go West (my favorite group). Yeah, I finally found one. Victory! Granted, the arrangement is a bit goofy (it still has that grocery store feel), but at least I have it.
While you're here, please sign my guestbook. If you need some time to figure out how to say just the right thing, you can just visit my book for now. Hey, no pressure.
