"One shot may be good enough, but it doesn't hurt to let 'em eat a few more bullets does it?"

Created to serve in the small but elite Special Tactical Forces of the counter-terrorism faction of the Maximals, the STF's only sniper Countershot is as accurate as they get. His visual sensors are configured to receive the greatest detail of any terrain and he sees anything and everything, even ants at up to 100m away. This uncanny ability to track, find and locate targets has made Countershot one of the most accurate guns in the Beast Wars. However, Countershot prefers a semi-automatic rifle that allows more damage in less time compared to the manually operated but heavy calibre sniper rifle unlike his Predacon sniper counterpart Night Stalker. Like his ability to pick off targets at extreme ranges, Countershot is a calculative friend who will calculate anything and everything, from personal favours to value of weaponry. Despite his mercenary attitude towards his friends, he is a staunch supporter of the Maximal cause as well as the STF. His semi-auto sniper rifle has interchangeable ammo types, ranging from laser rounds to explosive inferno shells that set the enemy on fire with a bang on contact. Countershot seldom needs a 2nd shot in battle, but his ability to fire faster than manually operated rifles gives him an edge. Should the enemy get too close, Countershot will not hesitate to use the rifle in close quarter combat due to it's relatively high rate of fire. If melee combat ensues, Countershot will unsheath his knife and not hesitate to shred his opponent into ribbons of scrap metal. A skilled professional, Countershot is not one to mess around with.


WEAPONS
This converted sniper rifle has an interchangeable ammunition system, allowing it to fire off different projectiles. The standard calibre of this rifle is a .772 shell that takes out most targets with one shot. Other ammo types consist of laser rounds that fire devestating ruby beams of concentrated light energy as well as lighter calibre rounds that deal considerable but insufficient damage to eradicate the enemy. The last shell is a napalm shell that has a tip so thin the on contact with any obstacle results in hellfire being released, incinerating most things that come by.
A standard issue weapon, this sharp gutsy knife that is given to all counter-terrorists in order to help them with melee righting should firearms be unrequired. Sharper than most cutting weaponry, this little baby cuts through armor like a knife cutting paper.
