Function: Naval Black Ops

Created to serve in Megatron's special Black Ops force, Night Shade is the perfect spy. Able to penetrate Maximal bases and outposts to gather all possible data from any possible source. His armour is fully stealthed enabling him to enter Maximal radar range undetected, allowing him to gather intelligence or sabotage Maximal equipment. Night Shade is an enigma to most of his comrades and even poses a little of a mystery to Megatron. He prefers silence, seldom speaking unless to reply to an order or when discussing a plan. This nature belies the vast intellect Night Shade possesses, always calculating and formulating probabilities and their risks. Night Shade is a graceful swimmer in beast mode in the water, but cumbersome on land. His robot form, however, performs extremely well under either condition. Night Shade often uses his beast head as a grappling hook in robot mode, but in certain situations, he will not hesitate to use it to chew off a chunk of enemy armor. He is also armed with a harder hitting sub machinegun compared to the standard issue that fires at a faster rate with more damage per round which is equipped with a silencer and a laser sight for accurate firing and stealth. He also carries an extremely sharp bladed combat knife should ammo from his 1000 round per minute SMG run out that slices through armor like paper. He also has a monocle for a right eye that carries delicate targetting cicuitry and doubles off as a medium powered laser that deals a fair amount of damage. Silent and deadly, Night Shade hits hard and fast, and yet not much is known about him as yet.


WEAPONS
Firing at theoratical speeds of up to 1000 12mm slugs per minute, this deadly weapon comes with a silencer for stealth and a laser sight for accuracy. Unlike standard issue Covert Ops sub machineguns, this special weapon of Night Shade's delivers more damage in less time, making such a small gun a threat at close-medium range, but it no doubt has its faults. Each clip of 55 rounds is spent within seconds of continuous fire, meaning Night Shade has to reload this weapon often in a firefight, but his targetting circuitry and high firepower ensure minimal ammo wastage.
The standard issue combat knife that offers Night Shade even more upclose and personal attack power. Able to slice through armor like paper, this weapon if often used as a final line of self defense.
A deadly mix of circuitry and weaponry, this monocle on Night Shade houses the delicate and sophisticated targetting systems he uses in combat as well as a medium powered laser that deals damage rapidly and in fair amounts. It can also be used to read data or as a cutting laser. The laser can, however, cause the targetting circuitry to be thrown off a little due to the heat it generates when fired, but this is only a minor flaw.
