Alexis Davis
Alexis Davis came to Port Charles in September 1996. Alexis is a brillant attorney who was completely loyal to her family until she told Stefan that Katherine was his sister. Stefan then banished her from the family.
Nancy has compassion for Alexis and feels for her. What they (the writers) have planned for her will end up defining her. She complicated and Nancy likes that.
Nancy says that "Alexis is a woman with definite opinions. I like her because she is smart. I won't play a woman who isn't because that's very limiting."
Alexis is instantly drawn to Ned because they're the same people. They play the same type of roles in their families (gatekeepers)
Nancy likes Alexis' sense of humor with Luke, sensuality with Ned, mystery and familial problems with the Cassadines. Nancy enjoys her three co-stars, Stephen Nichols (Stefan), Anthony Geary (Luke), and Wally Kurth (Ned). "I like the different elements they bring out in Alexis. I think it's helped to shape the character because it's show different dimensions. I like her complexity. She's certianly not boring. There's a hell of a lot of trouble you can get into when you're in the Cassadine family."
One of Nancy's favorite scenes was with Luke on the docks when he was unraveled the story of Alexis' mother, Kristen.
