Finally some material worthy of Nancy Lee Grahn's fine acting talent - the showdown scene where Stefan confronted Alexis about her betrayal. When this storyline began, Alexis' actions seemed incredilby contrived and unjustifable. Due to Grahn's superlative work, however, Alexis' behavior became easier to understand. It must be very difficult fo an actor to connect to material that seems so out of character, but Grahn finally reaped the benefits of her commitment to Alexis' motivation - that of loving and wishing to protect Stefan - made very clear by an honest performance. In fact, we wouldn't be suprised if Grahn earned another Emmy.
