When it comes to Helena, Alexis is usually frightened for her life - literally. But recently, Alexis finally cast her fears aside and let her nemsis have it.

During their face-off, Helena threatened to tell Stefan that Katherine took the fall from the balcony because of Alexis' failed attempt to kill Helena. Finally rediscovering the backbone she had when she first arrived in Port Charles. Alexis retaliated by explaining to Helena that Stefan has come to accept her as a Cassadine - and will protect her from any harm Helena might try to unleash. With a touch of humor and edge from Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis), the finish was divine: "Be off, before someone drops a house on you, too." Helena stood in amazement as Alexis drolly continued, "Get out, you bore me." When Helena left, Alexis; look of relief was felt by viewers as well.

The war is far from over, but this skirmish was a well-deserved victory for Alexis, who exhibited the shrewd intelligence we knew she had.
