Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) was prepared to have the time of her life when she took her baby daughter, Kate, to the beach for the first time. She had visions of sitting and enjoying the beautiful blue ocean while the apple of her eye plated serenely in the sand. Well, Grahn learned the hard way that there is such a thing as being too young for the beach.

"It was pretty hysterical," Grahn relates. "i don't think we're going to be doing it agin any time soon. Kate had never been in the sand before, and it was hard to keep her hands clean and out of her mouth. It was also very windy, and our tent blew away. As if that weren't enough, she pooped all over herslef and I didn't have enough wipeys. I think we'll wait a while to try it again."
