This is the episode following the one where Jack and Laura discover each other's true
identities. They find out the truth when Jack moves into Jenn's house. He moves in after he
discovers that it is completely legal to do this, since half of the house is legally his. I believe at the end ofthe episode where Jack and Laura discover the truth, Jack sneaks up to Laura's room to talk to her in private...

[The first scene opens with Jack and Laura in Laura's room. Laura's avoiding eye contact
with Jack, and she still seems to be in shock. Jack looks to be having a hard time too, and is
looking at her sympathetically]

Jack - Moni-- (catches himself) Laura..... I had no idea that you were Jennifer's mother.

Laura - (looking very upset, walks away from Jack still avoiding looking at him) Well, I
certainly had no idea that you were my daughter's ex-husband.

Jack - (follows her) Look... I'm sorry. (he looks at her and tries to get her to look at him)

Laura - (finally looks at him with tears) This will destroy my relationship with my daughter.
She will never trust me again.

Jack - Hey, don't worry about it okay? (he puts his hands on her arms) I'll take responsibility
for everything. Don't worry.

[Laura gives in and hugs Jack for comfort. They are hugging for awhile until Jennifer bursts
into the room. Jack and Laura quickly let go of each other and both look at Jenn, looking
guilty. Jennifer, not taking her eyes off Jack, walks into the room looking furious]

Jenn - (to Jack) What do you think you're doing?

Jack - Jennifer, I can explai --

Jenn - (interrupts) Don't even try it. I know exactly what's been going on here.

[Jack and Laura both look at each other then look down at the floor, unsure of what to say]

Laura - (whispers in disbelief) You know what's going on?

Jenn - Oh yeah. (looks at Jack) Oh, you bet I do.

Jack - Jennifer...

Jenn - You know, this is so like you to go sneaking around like this.

Jack - Look, I wasn't sneaking around. I had no idea --

Jenn - (interrupts) You thought you'd come up here, right, and you'd put on your lost little
boy act for my mother to try and win her over to your side, right?

Jack - (pauses) That's what you thought I was doing?

Jenn - That's what I know you were doing. Now I want you out of this room, I want you
OUT OF THIS HOUSE NOW!!

Jack - (looking relieved) I'm sorry, Jennifer, but I am not leaving.

[Peter walks into the room]

Peter - (to Jack) You can walk out, or I'll throw you out.

Jack - (looks at Peter and smiles) Go ahead and try.

[Peter moves closer to Jack to try and hit him, but Jenn holds him back. Jack doesn't even budge, he doesn't even blink an eye. He just keeps on smiling at Peter with a look that says, "I'm winning!"]

Jack - I have a legal right to be here.

Peter - I don't give a damn about your rights. Now Jennifer wants you out and that's exactly
where you're going.

[Peter grabs Jack and literally drags him out of the room. Jack lets him]

Jack - (while he's being dragged away, says to Laura) Look, I'm sorry! I'm sorry you had to
see this!

[Laura still seems extremely upset. Jenn slams the door shut after them and says this whole situation is "ridiculous". She apologizes to Laura for Jack trying to get to her through Laura.  Jenn goes on to tell Laura that Jack has been claiming that he had changed, but that she doesn't believe it. Laura comes to Jack's defense saying that she thinks Jack has changed.  Jenn asks her how she could say that,since she had just met Jack. Laura almost tells Jenn the truth, but stops herself]

[Peter is dragging Jack down the stairs, and opens the front door about to throw Jack out]

Peter - All right, Deveraux. Get out.

[Jack turns around and marches back into the living room]

Jack - No! No! No! No! I have a legal right to half of this house. (he points at Peter) I
should have you arrested for trespassing.

Peter - (gets angry at that) Me arrested?!

[Peter runs towards Jack ready to hit him again. Alice walks in (front door is still open) just in
time to stop the fight]

Alice - What in the world is going on?!

Jack - Mrs. Horton, I moved back in. Peter didn't like it. So with his customary restraint, he
resorted to violence.

Peter - He showed up and disrupted the entire household.

Alice - (like a mother scolding her two sons) All right! Now quit it, both of you. Nothing is
ever accomplished with violence.

Jack - (looks at Peter) There you have it.

Peter - (pauses) All right. Then I will accomplish it legally. (starts walking over to the phone)
The judge who signed the writ is a friend of mine.

Jack - Bought and paid for with Dimera money!!

Alice - Shhhhh!!!

Pete - (pauses, then decides to ignore Jack) He was in court before, Mrs. Horton. I'm sure I
can get him to retract his order. (he picks up the phone and starts dialing)

Alice - (quietly to Jack) This is not the homecoming you were anticipating, was it?

Jack - (frustrated, says quietly) No!

Alice - Jack, I told you it was mistake, dear!

Jack - (thinks about Laura) Mrs. Horton, you don't even know the half of it.

[Alice is upstairs with Laura now. Peter is still on the phone, and Jack is just standing there
watching him. Jenn comes downstairs and looks at Jack]

Jenn - What's going on? Why are you still here?

Jack - (says this slowly so they could understand) I... have... a... right... to... be... here... !

Peter - (who's off the phone now) We'll see about that. (to Jenn) I've got another call to the
judge asking him to rescind the order. (looks at Jack) Then once he does, I will take the
extreme pleasure of throwing Jack the hell out of here.

Jenn - No!

[Peter looks at Jenn stunned. Jack looks at Jenn hopeful]

Jenn - I want that pleasure myself, Peter.

Jack - (looks disappointed, then hopeful again) Well, don't count on it. The law is on my
side.

[Jenn walks over to Peter as the phone rings]

Peter - Not for long Jack. Either way, we're about to get our answer.  (he answers the
phone) Hello? (smiles and looks at Jack) Yes, hello Judge!

[Jenn turns around and looks at Jack too. Peter and Jenn both stare at him smugly. Jack isn't
bothered by this and just smiles back at them]

[Peter hangs up the phone, looking disappointed]

Jenn - What did the judge say? Jack has to leave, right? He can't move back in here.

Peter - (sighs) No......... The judge wouldn't back down. The writ stands.

Jack - YES!! (he gives a big smile and throws his arms up in triumph)

[Jenn and Peter just look at him in disbelief. Jack doesn't care. He keeps on smiling]
