Jack, Jennifer and Peter have returned to Aremid to help Bo in his search for Hope.  It has been  discovered that Jude had been holding Hope hostage.  She has escaped and Jude is still on the run. Jack has decided to start a private search for Jude in the mountains of Aremid, while Jennifer at Peter are back at the Red Dragon Inn.

Peter has just learned that Jack is out looking for Jude and panics when he realizes that Jack may find the connection between Peter and Jude.  He decides to join in Jack's search.  He grabs a
shotgun from behind Lou's counter at the Inn.

Jennifer -- Peter, please be careful.

Peter -- I'll be fine, don't worry.

Jennifer -- And you really think that you could use that gun?

Peter -- If I have to, yeah.  Hey, stop worrying okay.

He kisses Jennifer.  She wants to go with him, but he refuses and she finally agrees that it is safer if she stays at the Inn.

Meanwhile, Jack has spotted Jude's footprints in the snow and as he gets closer, Jude attacks.  He has a gun in his right hand.  They struggle.  Jack grabs Jude's right arm and breaks his hold on the gun.  He then socks Jude in the stomach -- twice and once in the face.  Jude goes down.  Jack
rushes for the gun and holds it on Jude.

Jack -- This is the end of the line, you sicko.  You are going to jail.

Jude -- Maybe we can work out a deal.

Jack -- No, there's not going to be any deals.  I'm holding the gun and I'm holding the cards.

Jude -- Look I've got some information that might interest you.

Jack -- (sarcastic) Yeah?  I doubt it.  Now get up!

Jude -- (he remains on the ground)  You want the name of the guy I'm working for.  Don't you.  Does that interest you?  (Jack is intrigued)  Yeah, I can see you are interested.  Alright, you
let me leave the country and I'll give up my boss.  Deal?

Jack -- Alright Jude, talk.  Who's your boss.

Jude -- Whoa.  I don't give information for free.

Jack -- Listen I can blow you away right now.  For what you did to Bo and Hope, they'd probably give me a medal for it.

Jude -- Look, do you want a metal for killing me, or do you want information about my boss?

Jack -- I want information about your boss.

Jude -- Okay.  (he gets up)  Here's the deal.  You let me go and as soon as I am safely out of the area, I'll send you a note with the name on it.

Jack -- What do you think?  Do you think I'm stupid?  No way!

Jude -- Alright, what if I sign something right now?  I'll give you the name and then you'll let me go.

Jack -- Alright you just give me the name right now.

Jude -- Don't you want some proof to show.  I can write you down the name on paper and once I'm out of sight you can read it.

Jack -- How do I know that you aren't just going to write down 'Smoky the Bear' or something?

Jude -- I trust you and you trust me.  That's the way it's got to be.

Jack -- No way.  You write down the name, I read it and then you go.

Jude -- No deal.  It's my way or no way.

Sarah and Jennifer are anxiously waiting for word on Jude back at the cabin.  They discuss love and Jennifer senses that Sarah has a crush on Jack, but she doesn't want to make her uncomfortable.  Sarah says that Jack is only in love with Jennifer.   They decide to change the subject.  Sarah realizes that the shotgun is missing and is worried for Jack so much so that Jennifer feels that she has to go  looking for the men.

Peter in the meantime has made his way up the mountain and is only feet away from where Jack and Jude are arguing.

Jack -- Forget it, Jude.  There's no deal.  I'm taking you in.

Jude -- What, are you crazy?  Don't be a fool.  You've been after this information for months.  And I'm ready to give it to you.  Just let me go.

Jack -- You gotta pay for what you did to Bo and Hope.  Once the police have you in custody, they'll find out who it is that you are working for.

Jude -- They'll never get it out of me.  And my boss is smart, real smart.  They'll never nail him.  This is a one time offer, just let me go and I'll give you the name.

Jack -- You don't have to tell me.  I already know.  It's Peter Blake, isn't it?

Jude doesn't even flinch.

Jack -- You might as well admit it, Jude.  You are working for Peter Blake.

Jude -- I don't admit to anything unless we have a deal.  Look, you have more to gain than I have to lose.  If I did work for Peter you could blow his whole good guy image and get you ex-wife
back, right?

Jack -- That's right and that's why I'm taking you in.  I'll let the police make you talk.

Jude -- Now who's dreaming?

Jack -- Well Bo Brady is going to have a lot of questions for you and he's gonna be pretty upset about what you did to Hope.

Jude -- Yeah, that's not going to help you now, is it?

Jack -- I trust the police will get what I need.  And there's no way in hell that I'm going to let you go.  Now it won' t be long before the state troopers are here.

Jack reaches for his cell and momentarily breaks eye contact with Jude.  Jude lunges at Jack and grabs the gun.  Jack falls back into the snow.  Both men are holding on to the gun.  Jack manages
to power himself on top of Jude but Jude uses his legs to kick Jack off him.  Jack rolls backwards
and loses the gun.  Both men quickly jump to their feet.  Jude has the gun trained on Jack.

Jude -- Say goodbye, Jack.

Jack raises his hands and steps back slowly.

Jude -- You had your chance Jack.  Now I'm going to have to waste you.

Jack -- (calmly) Yeah, Jude aren't you in enough trouble already?  Do you really want to add a murder wrap?

.Jude -- The cops will never find me.  I'm not worried.

Jack -- But you can't get away.  I mean, the police have the whole mountain surrounded.  Every, every exit is blocked.

Jude -- My boss will be more than happy to help me.  He's got  the money and the power.  Like I said, I'm not worried.

Jack -- Where is he?  This boss.  Jude, he's not here to help you.

Jude -- Oh he'll help me.  As soon as I get rid of you.

Jack -- Not if it's Peter Blake we are talking about here.  He's gonna let you hang out in the wind.

Jude -- He's never let me down before.  You're the one who's going down . .

With one quick blow Jack kicks the gun out of Jude's hand with his right leg. The gun goes flying. Jack grabs Jude from behind. Jude does a reverse head bunt and then throws Jack over his shoulders. Jude rushes to the gun. Jack pounces on Jude as he crawls on all fours trying to reach the gun. Jack punches Jude in the stomach. Jude retaliates and elbows Jack in the chest.

Peter has spotted Jack and Jude and instead of trying to help Jack, he sets up his rifle and watches the action through the view finder. Jennifer slowly walks up behind Peter. She sees the fight in the distance and then sees Peter with the rifle.

Jude has once again flipped Jack into an embankment and goes for the gun. Jack literally dives on top of Jude and reaches for the gun himself. As the two men rise to their feet, Peter takes aim.

Jennifer -- (realizes what Peter is doing) Peter, No!

Peter shoots. Jennifer lets out a blood curdling scream.

End
