[Hope and Franco have arrived at Jack & Jenn's house.  They all greet each other at the door.  Hope asks why she was invited over.  Jennifer says she doesn't know.  She said Laura told her she had some important news to tell her and Hope.  Laura arrives and announces the great news -- Stefano's been arrested.  Everyone looks shocked and happy.  Jack is shocked, but he doesn't look as happy as everybody else.  Scene ends.]
 

Next scene... Now Jack is smiling along with everyone else.
 

Jennifer -- This is the best news!  Stefano's been captured and arrested.  And we are going to be able to prove your innocence now!
 

[Jennifer hugs Jack.  Jack looks slightly worried again.]
 

Hope -- This is what we've all been praying for.  Jack, I am so happy for you.
 

[Hope hugs Jack]
 

Jack [to Hope] -- Thank you.
 

Hope -- It's about time!
 

Laura [smiling] -- Roman called it a miracle.  And he's right.  Soon, Kristen and Stefano will be forced to admit that Peter's alive.  [Jack is not looking very reassured.  He looks worried]  And then you'll never have to see the inside of those prison walls again, Jack.
 

Hope -- That right.  And with any luck at all, Stefano will occupy Jack's empty cell.
 

Laura laughs and says good idea.  Hope and Jennifer laugh as well.
 

Franco -- I'm glad to see you all happy.  But what if Stefano will not confess to his crimes?
 

Jack [looks more serious] -- Well, Franco has a point.  I mean what if Stefano decides not to say anything?
 

Laura -- If anyone can break Stefano, it's John!  And when that happens, you're finally going to be free.
 

[Jack cracks a small smile and seems a bit more reassured.  Jennifer, who has her arm around Jack turns him around to face her]
 

Jennifer -- That's right.  That's right, Jack.  Nothing's going to go wrong now.  [she puts her hands on his shoulders]  And I believe with all my heart that nothing's ever going to come between us again.
 

[She smiles to reassure him and puts her arms around him and they embrace.  Travis, who is spying on Jack & Jennifer from outside, through the window, looks very concerned.  Scene ends.]
 

[Jennifer releases herself from the embrace and walks towards the couch]
 

Jennifer -- It could be happening right now.  Stefano could be telling the police exactly where Peter is, this very minute.
 

Travis [to himself] -- What are they saying?  Stefano hired me to keep Jack & Jennifer apart for good.   And if I blow it.....  Damn!!! What's going on?!
 

Laura [walking towards Jenn] -- I wish I knew what was going on.
 

Hope -- Hey!  Why don't I call the station and see what I can find out, though?
 

[Hope goes to the telephone to call the station.  The phone at the station rings.  Abe answers it.]
 

Abe -- Hope, I'm glad you called right now.
 

Hope -- Yeah, listen.  Laura told us that you and John captured Stefano.
 

Abe -- Yeah, he's sitting right here with us.
 

Hope -- You interrogating him?
 

Abe -- Mmm hhh... That's right.
 

Hope -- Anything?
 

Abe -- No.  Not yet.
 

[John walks towards the telephone to speak to Hope]
 

John -- Hey, Hope.  John here.
 

Hope -- Oh John.  Listen, I'm at Jennifer's and everyone's really anxious for some news here.
 

John -- Yeah, I'm sure.  I'll tell you what I'll do.  I'll swing by when we wrap up here.  But I think it's going to be very late.
 

Hope -- Uh... I'm sure that's okay.   Believe me, I don't think anyone's going to be able to sleep until they hear something from you.
 

John -- I'm sure.  Just sit tight.  I'm sure I'll have some good news.
 

[John hangs up the phone.  Stefano tells him he shouldn't count on that happening.  They continue to interrogate Stefano]
 

Hope -- Uh.. John's going to stop by a little later.   But there's still no news.  Stefano's not talking.
 

[Jack looks disappointed.  Jennifer tries to keep herself strong for Jack's sake.]
 

Jennifer -- Well, he will eventually.  [she looks at Jack lovingly and caresses him] I still think things are going to work out our way.
 

Jack -- I really want to believe that, Jenn.
 

Laura -- Jack, you must believe it.   Everything is finally going to work out for you and Jenn.
 

[Laura smiles and walks towards Jack and Jennifer and the three share a group hug.  Hope looks sad.  Franco notices and walks towards her to ask what's wrong.  Hope says that Jack & Jennifer have been through so much and they'll get their "happy ending." Unlike her and Bo.  Scene ends.]
 

[Now, everyone is sitting on the couch waiting for John to arrive.  They're making small talk.  Laura is pacing the room and Jennifer walks up to her to have a chat.]
 

Jennifer [smiling] -- Mom, this news is a "God-send".  And it is all thanks to you.
 

Laura [smiles back] -- I just want you to be happy.
 

[Laura looks away and she looks kind of sad]
 

Jennifer -- I want the same for you.  Are you okay?
 

Laura [smiles] -- Of course I am, Silly!  [she hugs Jennifer.  Jennifer laughs]  As soon as this ordeal is over.....
 

[Abby screams from upstairs, "Daddy!!  Mommy!!"  Jennifer smiles and says that Abby's awake.  Jack gets up quickly from the couch and asks Jenn if she wants him to go get her.  Jennifer says that's okay, that she'll get her instead.  Jennifer goes upstairs.  Jack is now standing there with Laura.  He walks closer to her and puts his hands on her arms]
 

Jack [smiling] -- Listen, Laura.  I just want to tell you again how grateful I am for your courage and determination.  If it wasn't for .....
 

Laura [lovingly] -- Oh stop.  Stop.  I'm just glad I could help.  I want Peter found and I want you out of prison.
 

[Jack looks at her and gives a small smile.  Scene ends.]
 

[Travis is outside on his cellphone trying to contact Stefano.  He's informed that Stefano's in jail.  So Travis says that "it looks like now I'm on my own."  Scene ends.]
 

[Jennifer has now arrived downstairs carrying Abby in her arms.  Abby is wearing her housecoat.]
 

Jennifer [smiling] -- Abby just wanted to say goodnight to everybody.
 

Abby -- Is this a party?
 

[Everyone smiles and laughs]
 

Jack [smiling] -- Well, sort of, sweetheart.
 

Abby -- Can we have pancakes?
 

[they laugh]
 

Jack -- Absolutely!  What a great idea!  Pancakes for everybody!  Daddy's gonna cook.
 

Hope [joking] -- Uh-oh!
 

[Franco offers to help Jack.  Jack says that's fine.  That's an interesting thought ---> Franco and Jack making pancakes in the kitchen.  LOL!  John has now arrived at the door.]
 

[Laura takes Abby to the kitchen]
 

John [very serious tone of voice] -- Uh, listen.  I just wanted to give you all an update here on what's going on.  Uh... we couldn't crack Stefano.  I mean not yet.  But we will.
 

[Travis has now opened the front door ever so slightly so he can eavesdrop on John's conversation with Jack & Jennifer]
 

John -- We're gonna learn the truth about everything.  Especially Peter.  You can count on that.
 

Jennifer -- I just pray it's soon.
 

[Travis heard what he needed to hear and he closes the door gently.  He is crouched down and heads to a wall to hide himself]
 

Travis [to himself] -- Looks like I'll have to wing it now until this whole mess with Stefano blows over.
 

[Next scene, everybody's sitting in the dining room eating their pancake snack.  Jack is serving his pancakes to everybody.  Franco is offering people some milk.  Hope says the pancakes are delicious.  Laura tells Abby this was a good idea.]
 

Abby -- We could do this a lot, Mommy.
 

Jennifer -- Have Pancake Parties in the middle of the night?  [everyone laughs]  Well, I think we better save it for special occassions.
 

Abby -- You mean, like when Daddy's home?
 

[Jack hears Abby's comment and walks towards Jennifer and Abby.  He leans down so he is looking directly at Jennifer and Abby]
 

Jack -- Listen, sweetheart.  Nothing is more special to me than being here with you and your Mommy.
 

[Jack gives Abby a kiss on the cheek.  And then he turns towards Jennifer and gives her a small kiss on the lips.  Hope sees this 'family moment' and she gets upset and excuses herself from the table.  John notices Hope's sadness and he leaves to go outside to speak to her.  There she tells him about how Abby's desire to have her family together again reminds her of Sean D.'s hope to have her and Bo back together.  John comforts her as she cries.  Scene ends.]
