Stop The Wedding!
First part of episode was transcribed by Mystic; the second part of the episode was transcribed by Salem...
Here are the scenes involving Jack and Jennifer right before her wedding to Peter. Now before Jack had a chance to speak to Jenn, he was locked up in this room (it wasn't even a real jail). Anyway, Jack is in jail because he was accused of setting Peter and Jenn's wedding arbor on fire (he was innocent). Sarah, who somehow had the key, freed Jack. And of course, he went running off to find Jennifer. Now, Jenn is in her bedroom at the Blake House already dressed in her wedding dress. She's standing in front of a mirror and trying her veil on. Then out of nowhere, Jack comes in through the window...
-------------------------------------
Jenn - (rips her veil off) Jack?!! What are you doing here?!
Jack - I have to talk to you.
Jenn - That's it. I'm calling Peter. (runs for the door)
Jack - (literally grabs her and stops her) No, you're not!
Jenn - Let go of me! PETER!
Jack - (slams the door shut, and pulls Jenn away from it) Come here.
Jenn - (pushes Jack away) How did you get out of jail?!
Jack - It doesn't matter. I have something to say.
Jenn - I have nothing to say to you!
Jack - I LOVE YOU.
Jenn - (pauses) Yeah? Well, I'm sorry that I ever loved you.
Jack - Jennifer, listen. I was this close to proving that Peter Blake was dangerous. Then some guy hit me over the head and set that arbor on fire.
Jenn - I don't want to hear this. You set that fire, Jack!
Jack - I did not set that on fire. Peter Blake is dangerous. He's dangerous to you and to Abby and I am not gonna let you marry him!!
Jenn - I'm not listening to this. PETER!! (she starts for the door again)
[Jack grabs her and pulls her close to him. He looks into her eyes for a moment, and then he passionately kisses her]
--------------------------------------
[Jack and Jenn are still kissing, but Jenn is struggling for them to stop. She's finally able to push him off, and then she slaps him hard. Again, those two really make those slaps look so real! Jenn walks past Jack, trying to catch her breath. Hope bursts into the room. I guess she must've heard Jenn's yelling]
Hope - Jack, how did you get in here?!
Jenn - Hope! Get him out of here right now. I never want to see him again.
[Jenn marches out of the room. Jack is just standing there stunned. It's like he doesn't know what just happened]
Hope - (grabs Jack's arm) Jack, come on. Let's go. I'll get you out the back way.
Jack - (quietly) This isn't over yet.
Hope - Jack, come on! Let's go.
[Hope pushes Jack out the door]
------------------------------------------
[Later, Jack is outside the church looking in through the window. Sarah waks up behind him]
Sarah - Jack, what are you doing here?
Jack - (startled by her) What are you doing here?! (pulls her away from the window) Get away from me!
Sarah - I didn't let you out to cause more trouble!
Jack - Listen, I am trying to stop trouble here. I gotta stop this wedding. If I can just figure out how.
Sarah - (fed up) Oh, Jack.
Jack - (thinks) That's it.
Sarah - What?
Jack - I did it before. I'll do it again. (smiles) I'll kidnap her.
[And with that, he runs into the church]
Sarah - (shocked, and says to herself) Kidnap Jennifer?..... Are you nuts?
------------------------------------
[Jenn is in the bride's room with Uncle Mickey. It's almost time for her to begin walking down the aisle]
Jenn - Anyway, it just means so much to me to have you here to give me away.
Mickey - Well, I'm honored that you asked me. You are so very, very special to me.
Jenn - (hugs him) You have always been so supportive and so caring. You and Aunt Maggie both.
Mickey - Well, we just want you to be happy.
Jenn - And I will be happy.... I'll admit that there was a point where I was not a hundred percent sure of my feelings, but no more. I love Peter and there is nothing that I want more than to marry him.
Mickey - In that case, what are we waiting for?
Jenn - (smiles) I'm ready. (puts the veil over her face) I am absolutely ready to say 'I do'.
Jack - Over my dead body.
[Jack has appeared in the room and he looks determined. Jenn looks at him in shock]
----------------------------------------
[note: there's a lot of yelling in this scene]
Jenn - (angrily flings her veil off) Are you out of your mind?! Have you completely lost it Jack?!!
Jack - I can't let you do this! I cannot let you marry Peter!
Jenn - There is no way that you are going to stop the wedding. NO WAY. Do you hear me?!
Jack - There's no way that --
Mickey - (interrupts) Relax for a minute!! Relax for a minute! Now Jack, look. I know you're upset but Jennifer has made her feelings clear. Now I'm asking you to leave now!
Jack - (calmly) With all respect Mickey -- I refuse.
Mickey - (looks at Jenn) What do you want me to do?
Jenn - Nothing. (looks at Jack) I can handle this.
---------------------------------------
Jenn - There is nothing that you can do or say. I know what I want.
Jack - No, I'm not gonna let you just throw your life away like this!
Jenn - I love Peter. I want to spend the rest of my life with him!
Jack - No, you're angry! You're angry. You're angry with me and you're reacting off of it. It's because of the mistakes that I made in the past. It's because of Laura, right?!
Jenn - (that bothers her) I want you to leave here right now. (she turns away from Jack)
Jack - Listen, Jennifer. I'm not asking you to forgive me. I'm not even asking you to love me. Just give me enough time to prove to you that I'm right about Peter.
Mickey - Oh, Jack! Come on!
Jack - Listen, I got hit over the head! I did not set that thing on fire! That piece of paper with Peter's name on it -- it was probably the proof I've been looking for all along - that Peter Blake is evil!!
Jenn - (turns and faces him) NO, he's not!!
Jack - I am scared for you. I'm more than scared. I'm terrified for you and for Abby, and I'm not asking you anymore. (gets down on his knees in front of Jenn) I'm begging you here, okay?! (takes her hands in his) Now I know, I know. You're angry, right? You're angry. You're more than angry. You're appalled. You're disillusioned at the whoe thing! But I know that somewhere in that heart of yours that you still love me. Now listen to me. If not for you, then for Abby. You can't do it, Jenn. You cannot marry that man.
[Jenn stares at him. I really can't tell what she's thinking]
--------------------------------------
Jack - Jenn, I'm begging you. Come on, I'm pleading with you here.
Jenn - Listen, don't do this. (pulls her hands away from Jack, who was still holding them) Please! Stop.
Jack - Wait, look! (he reaches into his pocket and pulls something out) It's my wedding band. (he holds it up for Jenn to see) Now I know to you it means a string of broken promises but to me it means one promise that I have never broken. That I've always kept. And that's a promise I made to love you forever. That's the only reason I'm here! That's the only reason, Jenn. You cannot marry this guy!
Jenn - (when he pulled the ring out, she seemed really affected by it. She has tears in her eyes now) You know, there was a time when your emotional appeals really got to me. When you knew all the right buttons to press to make me feel the joy and the love that we once shared. (Jack sighs and looks down. It's almost like he's defeated. Like he feels like he just can't win : ( He looks back up at Jenn, with tears in his eyes) A love that I honestly believed would never die. But I was so wrong because you have managed to kill whatever was left of that love.
Jack - (his voice is shaky) No, no, no. That is not true. You know it --
Jenn - Listen to me. I don't want to hurt you but you are leaving me no choice....... I am not torn anymore. I love Peter. I love him with all my heart. (pauses, then says with difficulty) I don't love you anymore.
[Jack. Ohhh. The look on his face is so heartbreaking.... I'm sure you can picture how pained he must have been to hear the woman he loves say straight out that she doesn't love him. To say he's hurt is putting it mildly]
---------------------------------------
Jack - (starts to get up) All I'm asking is that you do what's right for yourself. For our child. Just forget about me! Just think about yourself and think about Abby. Peter is no good, I know it! If you give me the time, I can prove it!
Jenn - I have heard this! I have heard this all before! (pauses) I even almost believed it once Jack, but not now. I know Peter. (Jack is visibly bothered by that statement) I know him well enough not to be blinded by your jealous hatred of him. He is a good man. A man that I honor and that I love and respect with every part of me. And I do not even have the slightest reservation about giving myself to him competely. (Jack continues to stare at her sadly. He just doesn't know what to say anymore) And that's exactly what I'm gonna do right now. Are you ready Uncle Mickey?
[She walks past Jack, leaving him there all alone]
Jack - (turns and watches Jenn and Mickey walk out the door) Jennifer, no. Jennifer.
[Jenn and Mickey are out of the room now]
Jack - (to nobody) Jennifer, you can't do this.

The following part of the wedding episode was transcribed by Salem
Peter looks down the aisle and smiles as he sees Mickey and Jennifer. The wedding march begins and Jennifer makes her way down the aisle. Peter mouths, "I love you," to her. (MAKE ME GAG!) Meanwhile, back in the den.
Jack -- I have to stop her. I'm not giving up. I'm not going to let her do this.
Jack is desperate. He knows he has to do something quick.
The bridal party stares in wonder as Jennifer makes her way down the aisle. The doors are closed behind her.
Jack rushes to the closed doors but before he can open them, two goons grab him by the arms.
Goon 1 -- Hey man, there he is.
Jack -- Excuse me!
Goon 2 -- Where do you think you are going?
Jack -- I'm going to the wedding.
Goon 1 -- Forget it buddy, you ain't going anywhere.
Jack -- Get your hands off me!
The goons drag Jack away from the door towards the back room.
Goon 2 -- We've got orders Deveraux. To keep you out of the wedding.
Jack -- Let go of me!
They disappear through a doorway.
Jennifer makes it up the aisle to Peter. Mickey leaves her side.
Jennifer -- I'm so sorry I kept you waiting.
Peter -- You are so worth the wait. You are the most beautiful bride in the world.
The music stops and the wedding begins. The minister begins with "dearly beloved" and proceeds to give a speech on the joys of marriage. However, in the back room, Jack is struggling with all of his might.
Jack -- No, let me up. NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Jack's screams are loud enough to wake up the dead. The wedding party turns around in shock.
Jennifer -- What was that?
She is genuinely concerned. Everyone looks and listens for more. Whispers and low talking fill the room. Unfortunately, the goons have silenced Jack with their hands. Jack tries to call out, but his whimpers can not be heard.
Peter -- It must be my crew. I've got an entire army working on the reception and they must have dropped a punch bowl or something.
The crowd is amused and Jennifer smiles. The wedding continues. Peter thinks they've waited long enough. The minister starts from the beginning. Peter and Jennifer stare at eachother. Jack continues to struggle in the back room with every power in his body and soul. Jennifer and Peter exchange vows without interruptions. Jennifer appears to be in a trance when she looks at Peter. After they place the rings on their fingers, the minister pronounces them husband and wife.
Minister -- You may kiss the bride.
Just as Peter lifts the veil and kisses the bride, an out of breath Jack opens the doors to witness the kiss. His face could tell a story of a thousand words. He is shaken and disturbed by what he is witnessing, and disappointment is all that he can convey. He can not bear to watch anymore. He backs off and exits Peter's house. Sarah confronts him. She asks what happened. At this point, Jack can not even speak.
The reception begins soon after the wedding. The first dance begins as Jennifer and Peter take the floor. Jack, in the meantime, has made his way to the pub. Sarah has followed him.
Sarah -- What happened? Why won't you talk to me?
Lou -- I took your food down to you but you weren't there.
Jack -- Don't mess with me, Lou. Just give me a beer.
Lou gives Jack a beer and Jack tells him to put it on his tab. Sarah wants to know where Jack is going.
Jack -- Sarah, just leave me alone, alright.
Sarah -- No you shouldn't be alone. Let me help you.
Jack -- What, do you have a time machine or something? Can you just change everything that has happened? You can't help me.
Jack chugs some of the beer and leaves the pub. Jack makes his way back to the Blake property and can hear the music to which Jennifer and Peter are dancing.
He can not help but remember the good times with Jennifer. His mind wanders . . . There was the time at the Horton cabin on the beach when he and Jen and Abby played with the beachball. He remembers Christmas' past when they set up the lights around their home and kissed passionately on the doorstep. This makes him remember when he carried Jen into their home for the very first time. And how could he forget those cold winter nights when they sat by the fire and stole kisses from each other. Finally he thinks of their date at Brookfield Park when they rolled around in golden and red leaves . . . Jack's eyes tear up as he realizes that all he will have are these memories.
He hears someone come up from behind.
Jack -- I told you Sarah, I wanted to be alone.
Hope -- It's not Sarah. I just wanted to say that more than anyone else, I know what you are going through right now. Just let me help you.
Jack -- I tried to stop it . . . I did everything I could . . . But I couldn't stop it. I couldn't.
He faces Hope and tries to hold back his tears. Hope grabs him and pulls him in for a hug. She will try to get him through what will be the worst time in his life.
