Like the Mallory TV-101, the General Instruments model GI-66 UHF converter seems to have been cloned by a number of different manufacturers. I attribute the original design to GI, since it was a major maker of TV tuners. The disk-type dial is the continuing design element among the many makes, and the innards are the same, though the cabinet type and materials vary.
