Jerrold was a pretty early player in the second wave of television development in the 1950s, and is still making cable boxes and descramblers. This UHF converter, seen in both its ivory and natural brown bakelite cabinet forms, is from about 1958. It looks just like a Granco LUC, and has the same innards as a Granco LCU, with a slide rule dial fronting a 6AF4 and 6CB6 tube lineup, but I haven't figured out who made it for whom. Only the ivory version is in my collection.
