Dr. Hannibal Lecter is best known for his part in the movie "The Silence of the Lambs". Unbeknownst to many casual viewers, however, the witty and informative psychiatrist had a role in the movie "Manhunter".

- Much like the common hunter, Dr. Lecter kills only out of necessity. He does not kill for sport.
- Contrary to popular belief, Dr. Lecter is actually a pleasant man to have a civilized conversation with.
