The name of 'Yeuk Tung'
Carman has been in the show business for a few years. She found herself a very lucky artist and this may relate to her name. In fact, Lee Yeuk Tung (§õ ­Y §Í) is not her real name. The name was taken by director Tsui Hart and planner Lee Wai Man in "The Wicked City".
"The name suits me very well. According to director Tsui, my name should be 'in' and 'cool'. At the very beginning, they already thought that 'Tung' is very suitable for me. However, it would be too strong if we only use two words 'Lee Tung'. As a result, a 'Yuek' was added in the middle to make it more mild.", said Carman.
"    My parents like the new name very much. However, I will not change my name on my ID card because the was the name given by my parents. And what is my real name? Ha Ha! I won't tell you. You can continue to call me Lee Yuek Tung or Carman."

26Nov96 - Carman jumped from 50 feet high
               "My mind is completely blank, and it's a long time before I arrive the air-cushion."
 The show named ' War of the Under World' was taking a shot in which Carman had to jump from a building. Lau Ching Wan, the brave fireman, was going to save her from the window outside the building.
    Carman is afraid of height and she has never done any shot like this before. This time, without a stuntman. To overcome her panic, the director let her stood outside the window for a period. At the beginning, she didn't dare to look at the ground. However, with the encouragement of the director and Lau Ching Wan, she managed to reduce her fear a bit. "I am very scared at first and the wind is drifting wild. I find my heart dreadly freezed.", said Carman.
    However, Carman was so bold this time all because of her confidence in action director Yuen Bill whom she had cooperated with in ' Last Justice ' . Moreover, Lau Ching Wan was chatting with her all the time in to distract her tension.
    "The first time was really something. It made me shivering. At the moment I jumped, my mind is completely blank. I felt it's been a long time before I reached the air-cushion on the ground.", said Carman. After several jumps, the director accepted the shot since Carman was able to handle the posture in the air better. The director said that there was no insurance for Carman. He believed that the most important thing was the safety precaution prepared beforehand. Therefore, he had rent two fire engines and air-cushions.

10Sep96 -  Work is everything
         Typhoon "Sally" attacked Hong Kong and the Royal Observatory was going to announce No.8 signal later in mid-night. Meanwhile, Carman was working on the studio. Carman said she was lucky enough never to work under No.8 signal. She believed the crew would dismiss if No.8 signal was
posted this time. However, she was working indoors all day long, from afternoon till midnight and it would not bother her too much. After work, she would go back to read some more scripts or took a rest without wasting any time.
    She remembered that in one occasion when she was taking some shots on the street, the sky suddenly poured. However, the director didn't ask for a cut, she had to continue. Nevertheless, that part was being cut in the final release of the movie.
    Some artists defined a certain period of the year not to work. But Carman was just the opposite and took some memo even on her birthday - work is everything. She said she was not celebrating with her friends anyway, so she preferred to work rather than staying at home alone. In her just-passed birthday (16Aug), she interviewed with a magazine in the afternoon; and at night she went to a movie premiere where fans were waiting for her. That night, she received quite a number of gifts and up till now, she still received birthday cards from her fans all over the world everyday.
