I'm new to this, and so it'll be rough around the edges until it gets into a flow. It's always unusual at first, when the new ideas are tried.
People have become too attached to cell phones. I'm tired of being so reachable that anyone can get me anytime and I have to drop what I'm doing. The internet is one thing, where you have the control to close the box. You have a choice to answer your regular phone too. But when it omes to cell phones (and really beepers too), people begin to expect you'll be there anytime. What good is that?
Trying to do something like this is tougher than you think. Just sit down and try to write about everything that comes to mind for about 10-15 minutes. It's really tough, that's for sure.
I could use a Coke right about now.
This computer at work REALLY needs a sound card.
What am I doing up at 1:00 in the morning trying to write about this stuff? I should really be in bed.
I just read this review of Al Gore's Convention speech. It was quite an interesting read, and made me think a bit about his positions. It didn't hurt that I missed part of the speech so this filled me in as well. But he was clueless in other areas. So I take it with a grain of salt.
Not much to work with here at this late hour, but it's a start... look for more ThoughtStream entries to come.
