Tim Ferguson
Tim Ferguson was supposed to be the ABC’s next Andrew Denton. Unfortunately, he’s more like Jo-Beth Taylor. Maybe I am being a tad harsh. Things are looking better for him though. Those who have read his new book "Left, right and centre" claim it’s a bloody good read. But what else has Tim been doing with his time since DAAS split up? Well, he did captain two debates at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. (Beauty is better than brains and Lawyers have lost their appeal) and did have a brief stint on channel 9 with his show Don’t forget your toothbrush which didn’t last to a second season. Also he did host IMT , a guest appearance at the Logies a few years back, and a spot about the new book on Recovery . (8/11/97) We won’t mention all those tacky, horrible ads he has been doing will we? Hopefully, this new book with be the saving grace for Timothy and we will recover our faith in him once again. Is it too late? I hope not.
