Other Information:Bennett was Julie's father, and also had a son, Buddy, who killed himself. When Bennett came to work at General Hospital, Julie had to reveal that she was, indeed, his daughter, and her hatred towards him grew. Although he was a talented surgeon and a gifted doctor, Bennett was very interested in anything that would give him material gain, and he worked with Chris Ramsey to develop the drug DL56 before the other researchers at General Hospital so that they could get the proceeds from it. He was the first victim of the General Homicide killings and was stabbed in the heart with a fountain pen.
