Facts:Alex is the oldest Reed sister, known to be demanding and dependent, unwilling to do work or have to live without riches. Although she is not happy with her divorce, she still remains friends with Wade. Alex developed breast cancer in the third season of the show, but was later pronounced in remission. Shortly after overcoming her cancer, Alex gained a position as host of "Alex Live", with Norma Lear as her producer. Later, Big Al Barker/Barkowitz became the show's sponsor and he and Alex got romantically involved.
