Sister,Sister, our favorite sit-com, was made by Emmy award-winning executive producer
    Suzanne dePasse especially for our favorite twins, Tia Dashon and Tamera Darvette Mowry.
    It first aired in ABC, but was canceled after two seasons. Then WB picked it up.
    After changing to the WB, Tia and Tamera have won 3 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for
    best actresses. We should all give the WB king-size hugs for that.

     Sister, Sister is also a huge show outside the US. You can in fact view it in every single
     country in Europe. NICKELODEON covers the UK, while for example TVNORGE
     covers Norway. This is cool because you get an international crowd.

                          THE SISTER SISTER HISTORY

     After being separated after birth, Tia and Tamera bumps into each other at a Detroit mall.
     They can't believe their eyes when they notice that they are quite alike.
     Tia and Tamera continues to meet each other regularly, until Lisa (Jackee Harry)
     decides that she and Tia are going to move to St. Louis. When they find out, Tia and Tamera
     runs away. They try to get on a bus to Minneapolis/St. Paul (twin-cities !) But Ray (Tim Reid)
     and Lisa find them before the bus leaves. After a long discussion they all decide to move
     together into Ray's luxurious suburb-house. Lisa and Tia were from Downtown Detroit.

        After living a while with each other, Ray and Lisa finds out that they are completely different
     from each other. We also notice that Tia is the smart and scrupulous twin, while Tamera
     is the sloppy and the constantly-flirting-with-boys twin. Tamera is also less studios.
        In the first couple of episodes, we also get to know their neighbor, Roger (Marques Houston)
     He is constantly trying to nonplus the twins. But Roger stands no chance. As the episodes
     goes by, we get to know the famous quote : "Go Home, Roger!!." Rogers fight for being the
     boyfriend with one of twins, or both twins as he prefers, is one of the central elements of the
     show.

      On the show, the twins attend Roosevelt High School. In season two they get a job
      at Rocket Burger. First they worked with Ray at his Limousin company, but they
     didn't like it there. They decided to get a job at Rocket Burger because the boss there
     was cute. But just after they got the job, he resigns from the job. Their new boss
     is one of the most hated caracters in the shows history, along with Rhonda Coley,
     "Stinky Steve." He constantly bosses the girls around, and they hate him. (In one
     episode Tia dreams that she is in love with Steve.) In season 4 the twins get fired.
     Then they decide to get a job apart from eachother. Tia gets a job at an awesome
     50's restaurant. Tamera is unemployed.....for one day. When she gets a job at
     the 50's restaurant, Tia gets angry. They become enemies. But later in that episode, Tia
     admits that she's wrong and apologizes to Tamera. The scene where they split a
     sundae, is probably the cutest scene ever on Sister Sister !

         As the seasons go by, it becomes lighter to tell the twins apart, especially when Tia
    "loses" her mole after the third season. Roger matures a little bit every season.
     From the desperate flirty-boy in the first seasons, to the mature and polite young man at the
    end of season 5. The fifth season was also Marques Houston's last on the show.
    But over the years Marques have become good friends with the real-life Tia and Tamera,
    and they still keep in touch with eachother.During the summer between season 3 and 4,
    Tia and Tamera changed alot. You could see the difference. The curly hair was gone.
    They also seemed to have grown taller during that summer and like I said, Tia had "lost"
    her mole. Roger did also change his look during that summer. Also a notable change from
    season 3 to 4 is that Ray and Lisa got uh...... closer. In fact they dated once, but that didn't work
    out.

   Season 5 is my personal favorite season. Tia and Tamera grew even more between these
   two seasons. They became more and more independent and different from eachother.
  They also grew even more beautiful during that space of time, to a dice 7(!). Season 5
  also has the coolest theme song, performed by T&T. They got boyfriends also during
  the season. Tyreke Scott (Ron Rocco) is Tia's boyfriend until they brake up early in
  season 6 (sad). Jordan Bennett (Ronacro Lee) is Tamera's boyfriend.

 In season 5, T&T applies for univerisities.
 Tia gets accepted to five universities, Dueke and Northeastern amongst them. Her big
 dream falls to pieces when she gets denied at Harvard. Tamera gets accepted to the
 University of Michigan, where Tia also has been accepted. Tia decides to join her
 sister since they've only known eachother for a few years.Tamera is more indifferent when
 it comes to higher education. She wants to be a kid forever. In the episode "I have a dream,"
 that picture gets clear. While the other members of the gang (Tia, Jordan, Steven & Diavian)
 studies black history big-time, she doesn't care and goes to bed. In her dream, she meets
 many african-american heroes like Martin Luther King Jr and Harriet Tubman. When she wakes
 up, she has completely changed her mind and can't wait to take the test.
   Season 6 has started in most countries, but not in Norway. This page will be updated
 when it starts.
