My Marching Band Page

On October 25, 1997, our high school marching band, the Angola Marching Hornets, won the Class C State Championship. We performed our show, "Victory at En Gedi," at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis. This was the first time we had won since 1973. It was a great way to end my senior year marching season. The next task for the Hornets, defending the title, seemed even more impossible. Their 1998 show "Faces of Fire" was very impressive...enough to earn them a repeat Championship! I was lucky enough to get to help present them with their $1000 scholarship during awards.
