Hi Everyone,
Those of you who live near a store that is closing have probably already heard that WB is downsizing some. Unfortunately the Santa Barbara store is one of them which leaves us with a two hour drive to the next one. This means that we will be going to one a lot less often. To keep on top of what is released I am looking for some help with the newsletter. I need someone who visits one of their stores at least once a month and would be willing to write a short paragraph of what they saw new there along with the prices. You would get your own section in the newsletter and any editing on my part would be mainly formatting. If anyone is interested please let me know!

Seen in Stores

  • The WB Store Online is having a 15% off sale on their Fiestaware. They also have the Bugs and Tweety Easter baskets and the Easter salt and pepper set on sale for half price. URL: http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/stat?id=vzTUpunnJhY&offerid=11941&type=3&subid=0
  • We got the new WB Catalog and it has several nice items in it. The Tweety summerware is very nice this year. It is clear acrylic with bright flower patterns and has most of the dinnerware you need for a picnic. The new cookie jars and salt and pepper sets are the start of a new trend. Both are much more like a figurine now. Not very practical but pretty. The Pepe and Penelope on piano and Bugs New York cookie jars both caught my eye. There are 3 new ERTL banks: Bugs and Co. Moving van with figures, Granny's Homemade Pies truck and a Pepe and Penelope VW Bug. There are also several new beanies out. Tweety 4th of July, Tweety Grad and reissues of the original Taz, Bugs and Tweety. Most of these items can also be seen on their website. • Staples has colored CD Cases with the characters on the front. $8 for 6 cases with Tweety, Taz and Bugs on them.
  • Herrschners has a Taz afghan kit to go with their Tweety one now. $49.99 each. Includes everything you need to make it. URL: http://www.herrschners.com
  • The Bradford Exchange has two new 3D plates out. Taz is driving a racecar in "Ready Set...Go!"(#71021 $39.95) and Tweety is Monday's Child in "Monday's Toon has an Innocent Face" (#61711 $29.95). You can see them and several others on their website. URL: http://www.collectiblestoday.com
