Hi Everyone,
Summer is approaching and with it comes the craft items. We've already seen some booklets at our local crafts store. I've also seen 3 nice craft kits for sale on Ebay.com-so hopefully they will be in stores soon too. We haven't seen any of the smaller craft items yet but it is still very early. Michaels Crafts was already putting out kits for Christmas! Seems like it starts earlier every year.

Toys-R-Us has some software and books on clearance. Ours had 4 titles-Daily Desktop, Merrie Masquerades, Duckbumps and Assorted Nuts-on sale for $5.98 each. Plus there were 4 sound books on sale for $2.98 each. Very good deals on all of these. I like all of the software. The Daily Desktop is cute-it has a calendar, notepad and other things all tied up into a completely customizable Looney enviroment. The others are coloring books and puzzles similar to the ones we reviewed on our site.
Toys-R-Us also has 4 sets of stampers in. They are 2 to a pack, self-inking and have a large pvc character on the top. Sylvester & Tweety, Marvin & K9, Bugs & Taz and Wile E. & Roadrunner. $3.99 each.
Tiger Electronics has Tweety and Taz Gigapets out. We haven't been able to find them in stores around here but K-B-Toys usually stocks them.
Gottschalks has a lot of the Salton items in. They have the Taz shower radio, the Sylvester & Tweety waffle maker, assorted mug and warmer sets and Bugs or Marvin Snow Cone makers($20 each). You will probably also be able to find them in other places that sell Salton products-like drug stores.
Leisure Arts has 5 new photo album items out. There are 3 books with pictures to decorate with and 2 kits with pictures and accessories. The themes are Holidays, Happy Days and Just for Fun.You could also use these for paper crafts. $6.95 each for the books and $9.95 each for the kits. We found them at Michaels Crafts but any place carrying Leisure Arts items should be able to get them.
