Window Pane Cookies
PATT'S WINDOW PANE COOKIES
*******************************************
- 1 large package of chocolate chips
- coconut, shredded, as desired
- 1 stick of butter or margerine
- 1 package of mini marshmellows, preferably
the ones in color
- 1 cup walnuts
Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler
or microwave.
Let this mixture cool. When cool,
but NOT hard, add marshmellows, walnuts and coconuts. Mix.
Put one
half of the mixture on
each of 2 pieces of tin foil. Form into a roll.
Cover with the foil.
Refrigerate rolls at least 24 hours before
slicing. Store in the refrigerator.
We tried this out and even Fitz could do it!
