Springfield Plainbillies®

(Sung to the tune of "Beverly Hillbillies")

Parody written by Jay Edwards. You may not reproduce this without permission.

Now, let me tell you a story 'bout a boy names Bart.
Small, buggy brat, people used to call him... uh, Bart.
Then one day, people gocked at what they found,
Started blamin' Simpson, and he said "Don't have a cow."

Steer, that is.
Chewy beef.
Hardee's Whopper.

Well just before you knew it, Bart was pounded to the ground.
Felt his head a spinnin', always hearin' narfle sounds.
Town said, "You shouldn't have gone and gave that cat a tan."
Bart was feelin' stupid but he thought he'd do it again.

Repeat that is.
Redo.
One more time.

Now, listen to a story 'bout a man named Ned.
Lefty Christian man, always kept his family fed.
Then one day, he was walking down the street,
And out of a house came a bowling ball in kleets.

Homer, that is.
J. Simpson.
Texas sneeze.

Well, just before you knew it, Ned was pounded to a smear.
Kinfolk said, "Ned, run away from here."
They said, "Somewhere else is the place you ought to be."
So they loaded up their car, and they moved to Evergreen

Terrace that is.
Right by Homer.
Boy, they're stupid.
