Alyson Hannigan began her acting career in Atlanta at the age of four, working in national commercials for companies such as McDonald's, Six Flags Amusement Parks, and Oreo Cookies. At the age of 11, Alyson moved to Los Angeles in hopes of furthering her career and breaking into television and film.

Alyson's breakthrough came when she landed the role of Dan Akyroyd's daughter in the film, "My Stepmother Is an Alien." Other film credits include "Dead Man on Campus." In television, Hannigan has guest starred on "Roseanne," "Picket Fences," and "Touched by an Angel." She has also held a recurring role on the series "Almost Home" (formally "The Torkelsons") and was a series regular on "Free Spirit." TV movie credits include "For My Daughter's Honor," "The Stranger Beside Me," and "Switched at Birth."

A Washington, D.C. native and Dr. Seuss fan, Alyson enjoys surfing the web, practicing kick-boxing, and spending time with her dogs and cats. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
