Gone But Not Forgotten… Previously on Gone But Not Forgotten: "Give me twenty minutes and I'll be ready." Maxie was breathing quite heavy, knowing what was to come. "You got it baby." The voice replied. "Oh, and have your clothes off when I get there babe. I wouldn't want them to get ripped off your gorgeous body like last time…" There was a click and then the dial tone… ^^^^^^^^^ Nikolas stepped into the room and shut the door behind him. "I needed to see you." He replied and took Jordan into his arms. Everything was just as he remembered. Her skin was still so soft and she still smelled like Roses. He couldn't resist any longer. He turned with her in his arms, pushed her up against the door and kissed her with all the pent up passion and lust from the last six years. In seconds he had her robe off and on the floor, leaving her in the short red negligee she wore beneath. When they finally pulled away, both panting for air, they stared at each other, both shocked by the emotions running through them. "We need to talk." Jordan finally said… And now… Chapter 2 "Questionable Times" "We need to talk." Jordan repeated. She was desperately trying to calm her pounding heart. "Your right." Nikolas backed away from Jordan and went to the couch. He sat and waited for her to join him. Jordan opted for a chair near the couch, not wanting to get too close to Nikolas. "What are you doing here Nikolas?" Jordan knew the question sounded bad, but she couldn't help asking. "In Port Charles or this hotel?" Nikolas wasn't sure which she meant. "Well," Jordan thought for a minute. "Both I guess. I wasn't expecting to see you when I got off the plane, and I certainly wasn't expecting to see you when I opened the door." "I wasn't expecting to see you in the airport either." Nikolas took a deep breath to steady himself. "Well, to answer your question, I've lived in Port Charles for ten years now. As for why I'm here, in this hotel, I had so many questions going through my head when I saw you that I had to come ask you. I couldn’t wait." “What did you want to ask me?” Jordan was instantly nervous. “Well.” Nikolas took a deep breath. “For starters, how are you related to Robin?” Jordan smiled at this question which she knew was actually quite easy to answer. “We’re cousins… sort of. We’re actually distant cousins. So distant that we’re hardly related at all. I can’t remember exactly how but it’s something like Robin’s Great, Great, Great Grandmother and my Great, Great, Great Grandmother were like second cousins or something. But Robin and I met when we were both living in the Bronx. We somehow ended up being neighbors. Then our mothers started talking and found out that we were distant relatives. Since we were all pretty young, it was explained that we were cousins. When you’re that young, you don’t see how distant that relationship is. You just see that one of your best friends is part of your family. And it’s stayed that way ever since.” “So you and Robin have kept in touch?” Nikolas asked. “How much does she know about us?” “Robin and I have kept in contact. We were pretty much pen pals after I moved to LA. And we call each other every so often. I did tell her about you but I didn’t tell her exactly who you were. I didn’t even know myself for quite some time.” Jordan and Nikolas were interrupted then by the sound of little feet shuffling into the room. Little Nikolai stood in the bedroom doorway, a teddy bear under one arm, his hands rubbing sleepy eyes. "Mommy?" *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Stefan and Laura slowly made their way up the Wyndemere stairs. Each had a sound asleep child in their arms. Laura smiled as Stefan shifted Lesley Lu in his arms. "Leslie Lu is getting too big to be carried up to bed, you know." Stefan smiled back. "I know. But she looked so peaceful and angelic I didn't have the heart to wake her." They made their way to each child's bedroom, tucking them into bed and then heading to their own. Laura sat down at her dressing table and brushed her hair. Stefan sat on the bed, watching her. "Lasha, are you happy here?" Stefan asked. "Of course." Laura put down her brush and crossed to Stefan. "I love you Stefan. And I love our life." She slipped her hand inside Stefan's. "There are only six times I've ever been happier than I am right now. Those times are when Nikolas, Lucky, Lesley Lu, Natasha and Leanne were born, and our wedding day." "I love you Lasha." Stefan whispered as he ran his fingers through Laura's hair. "I've loved you since the day I first say you and I will love you for all eternity." "I love you too Stefan. And I always will." Laura feels a tingle run through her body as Stefan pulls her into a kiss. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Maxie lay on her bed, only a sheet covering her body, waiting patiently. "Where is he?" She thought. She'd had enough time to light a few candles, which were now the only light in the room. Maxie's thoughts were interrupted as her bedroom door opened and a tall dark figure entered the room. "I see you followed my orders little one. Good." The figure slowly moved toward the bed. "Since you've been such a good girl, I think we'll have a new lesson tonight. Once that I truly believe you will enjoy." "What lesson is that, Master?" Maxie hoped he didn't hear the slight tremor in her voice. The man removed what appeared to be a pair of handcuffs from his trench coat and placed it on the bed. Then a pair of ankle cuffs was placed with it. "I do believe you will look very beautiful once you are tied to your bed, little one." With this Maxie squealed with delight. "Oh Master. You've never done this to me in person before. Just in the chat room online." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Jimmy parked his rental car in the parking lot of what he was told to be the best place in town to get a drink. He looked up at the sign. "Luke's place, huh? Well Luke, I hope you got a bottle of Jack Daniels in there with my name on it!" He cut the engine and strolled inside. He saw an empty stool at the bar and decided to claim it. "What'll it be?" The bartender asked. "Jack and Coke. Heavy on the Jack," was Jimmy's reply. He took a quick glance at the brunette beside him. Not bad, he thought. But perhaps a little too preppy looking for his taste. Though preppy would be a wonderful change from the usual puck bunnies Jimmy ended up with. "Anything else I can get you stranger?" The bartender asked as he placed Jimmy's drink on the bar. "Yeah." Jimmy said. "Another drink for the Lady. On me." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Lucky stepped into the back room of Luke's. "Hey Dad. How's it going?" Luke turned in his chair to see his son. He took his trademark Cuban cigar from his mouth before speaking. "Not too bad Cowboy. Something I can do for ya?" Lucky sat in a chair across the desk from his father. "Can't I stop by and see how my own father is doing?" "Perhaps." Luke replied. "But with how well I know you, I doubt it." Lucky sighed. "Fine, you want to know the truth Dad? Lizzie and I are worried about you. I know you still miss Mom." "Your right Cowboy. I do miss Laura." Luke turned around once again. "But I miss the Laura I thought I knew." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Nikolai, what are you doing up?" Jordan rushed to the little boy and picked him up. "I heard voices." Nikolai replied. "It's okay Sweetheart." Jordan planted a kiss on top of the little boy's head. "Mommy was just talking with Mr. Cassadine. I'll take you back to bed now." "Okay Mommy." Nikolai nestled into Jordan's neck as she carried him back to his part of the suite. When she came back out, she shut the door behind her. "Okay. Where were we?" Jordan returned to her seat. "I was about to ask you if Nikolai is my son." Nikolas replied. Jordan opened her mouth as if to say something, but what she wasn't sure. To Be Continued…
