Gone But Not Forgotten... Previously on Gone But Not Forgotten: "No." Robin shook her head again. "You're not my parents. My parents would have come back to me by now. It wouldn't have taken my parents almost twenty years to come back to me." ^^^^^^^^^ Garcia slumped down in the chair next to Frisco. "I ran a few checks and called some old contacts. It seems Cesar Faison had a son. Cesar Faison Junior." ^^^^^^^^^ Nikolai stood next to Nikolas and placed his little hand in Nikolas' big one. "Can I call you Daddy?" ^^^^^^^^^ Tracey Quartermaine-Corinthos stepped out of the limousine and smiled at her husband. "Thank you darling." ^^^^^^^^^ And now... Chapter 6 "New Faces And Different Places" Jordan rolled over with a groan and answered the ringing phone. "Hello?" "Jordan, its Nikolas." Nikolas couldn't believe how nervous he was. He hadn't been this nervous since he when he thought he was in love with Sarah Webber years ago. "I'm calling about lunch." "What time it is?" Jordan tried to rub the sleep out of her eyes. "Eleven O'clock." Nikolas replied. "I thought we could have lunch. You, me and Nikolai." Nikolas hesitated before going on. "Um, Jordan there's something you should know. Nikolai stopped me in the living room last night as I was leaving. He asked me if I was his father. He also asked me if I love you." Jordan bolted up in the bed, instantly awake. "What did you tell him?" "I didn't exactly say yes, but I didn't say no either." Nikolas cleared his throat. "I did tell him the truth though, even if only the partial truth. I told him I'd like to be his father and I do love his mother." Jordan felt her cheeks go hot at this. "And then he wanted to make sure I wasn't going to hurt you." "What did you say to that?" Jordan asked, almost in a whisper. Nikolas swallowed hard. "I told him I couldn't promise him that because people sometime hurt other people unintentionally. But I did promise him that I would never hurt you intentionally." There was a heavy silence over the line for a moment before Nikolas finally continued. "So when would you like to meet for Lunch?" "Nikolai and I will meet you at the Outback at noon." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Jason was sitting on the couch in his penthouse going over some information he had just received. He was shocked when Renaldo opened the door to reveal Sonny and Tracey. "Sonny?" He said. "Hey Jase." Sonny replied. "You remember your Aunt Tracey don't you? My new wife." Jason's jaw about hit the floor. "Your wife?" *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Rebecca Richards sat on the windowsill of her new bedroom. "So this is Port Charles." She thought. "What's so great about this place that mom had to move us here? I should have stayed in Roanoke. Or better yet, moved to Europe. I'm nineteen years old. Why do I have to stay here?" Rebecca's thoughts were interrupted by a knock on her door. "Rebecca, honey, can I come in?" Heather Richards poked her head in the door. "Sure mom." Rebecca sighed and continued looking out her window. Heather watched her daughter for a moment, not exactly sure what to say. "Honey, I know this past year has been rough on you. First Daddy leaving, then moving here. But I feel in my heart this is where we should be right now. It's a new town. A new start. And with me starting my new job at General Hospital today, things can only get better. Maybe you can take a few classed at Port Charles University this fall. I hear they have a good drama department." "Sure Mom. Whatever you say." Rebecca was trying hard not to let the tears come to her eyes. She knew her mom meant well, but this just wasn't the life she wanted. She spent her days and nights dreaming of something better. And something better certainly wasn't moving to Port Charles to take care of her seventy year old grandfather George, fight with her eighteen year old rebellious brother Marc and keep fourteen year old Katie, twelve year old Nathan, nine year old Danielle, five year old Devin and two year old Andy out of trouble. Heather watched her daughter for a moment longer before turning to go back down stairs. She stopped at the door and looked over her shoulder at Rebecca. It broke her heart to see Rebecca like this. Heather couldn't figure out why Rebecca didn't like it here though. "You could at least give Port Charles a chance." She said. "What could it hurt?" Then she left the room. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Robin picked up the phone in her bedroom and quickly dialed her Uncle's cell phone number. She waited patiently for either Mac or Felicia to answer. Finally her Uncle's voice came over the line. "Scorpio." "Uncle Mac, its Robin." She whispered into the phone. "You have to come back to Port Charles quick." "Robin, what's wrong?" Mac asked. He could hardly hear her. "There's a couple in the house Uncle Mac." Robin replied, still whispering. "They say they're mom and dad." Robin felt the tears coming to her eyes again. "They can't be mom and dad. Mom and dad died. We've been over this." "Robin, I'm in Port Charles now, I'll be right over." Mac hung up the phone and turned to Felicia. "Honey, I'm sorry but Robin's got a problem at the house. I'll be back as soon as possible." Mac got up and practically ran out of the hospital. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Emily sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She was surprised she didn't have a worse hangover than she did. Just a headache. She remembered most of what happened the night before, which was even more unbelievable. She even remembered going home with Jimmy Carston. Emily looked at the pillow next to her. There lay a note and a red rose. She picked up the note and read it. "Em, sorry to run out on you this morning, but I promised my sisters I'd meet them for lunch at the Outback. You looked so peaceful sleeping beside me that I didn't have the heart to wake you. I'm meeting my sisters at noon. If your awake, I'd love for you to join us so you can meet my sisters and nephew. If not, I'll be back as soon as possible. Love, Jimmy." Emily smiled to herself, as she smelt the rose he'd left. Things seemed to be turning for the better. Jimmy brought back a lot of good feelings that Emily hadn't had since Lucky had dumped her for Lizzie. Jimmy even made her forget about Lucky. She hopped out of the bed and got dressed. She had a half an hour to go to her apartment, shower, get dressed and get to the Outback. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Brenda Quartermaine came down the stairs and headed for the family room, hoping to find her husband. "Hello everyone." She said when she found the rest of the Q's there. "Good afternoon Brenda darling." Lila smiled brightly at the young woman. She had never been happier than when Brenda and AJ had fallen in love and married. Except of course when little Brandon was born. "Mommy." Little Brandon cried and ran to his mother. Brenda scooped her son up into her arms and hugged him. "There's mommy's big boy. I missed you so much." She carried the little boy over to the couch and sat next to AJ with their son on her lap. "Hello darling." She smiled at AJ. "Welcome home Bren," AJ leaned over and kissed his wife on the cheek. "We missed you." To Be Continued...
