Chapter 5 “Jason? What did we talk about??” Robin whined. “Put *AJ's* son down.” Carly stepped away from Jason. She couldn't believe her ears. The pipsqueak was telling Jason what to do? He'd better not do what she says. Carly placed her hands on her hips and faced Robin. “Jason can hold *his* nephew, my *son* anytime he wants!” “Carly, stop.” Jason put Michael down. He wasn't interested in a fight between Carly and Robin. Robin shot Carly a smug look, happy that Jason was doing as she asked. Robin turned her attention back to Jason who was still holding Michael's hand. Robin sighed loudly. “Jason. Let go. He has a father.” Carly gasped. She could not believe what she was hearing. And Jason just seemed to be doing anything she wanted. What happened to him? Robin's ruined him. Carly grabbed her son's hand. “We all know my son has a father but if *I* want him to see his uncle, he can see his uncle.” “Carly. Please.” Jason said wearily. Every time Carly and Robin got in the same room a fight always broke out. Carly just gaped at him. He always blamed her. Why does she put up with it? Because I can't help but… Carly plastered a fake smile on her face. “You know Jason, I'm not going to do this.” I won't give the mini-witch the satisfaction. “But how about I bring Mikey over next week? He misses you, you know.” “Well, I,” Jason caught the look on Robin's face and stopped for a second. “Yeah, sure. Call me and we'll set up a time. I missed him, too.” Jason headed for the elevators leaving Robin behind. Carly smirked at Robin behind Jason's back. Robin cast a quick look in Jason's direction and went over to Carly. She softly hissed, “I know what you're up to and you can just stop it right now! You're never satisfied are you? You're living off the Cassadines and you have them fighting all your legal battles with the Qs. Somehow you've held onto the custody of Michael and AJ doesn't fight it. He even defends you to the Qs. You don't need Jason and you can't have him. So stop trying to use *AJ's* son to worm your way back into Jason's life because it's never going to work.” This was the Robin Carly knew. “I don't have to `worm my way' back into Jason's life, I've never left. You're just pissed because you can't stand the thought of Jason loving someone other than you. But he does. He loves Michael and” Carly paused then decided to go for it since it would really annoy Robin. “He loves me.” Robin laughed. “Loves you? Jason loves you? Carly, I taught Jason all there is to know about love so there is in way he could ever love you.” “You taught Jason about your kind of love. You taught him how to put you up on a pedestal and worship you like some sort of goddess or something. But one of these days he's going to figure out who you really are and knock your butt off that pedestal so hard you'll go flying!” Robin sneered. “Really? You wish. Now listen slut…” Carly laughed. “Slut? That's the worst thing you can come up with?” “Robin?” Jason called out. Robin wiped the sneer off her face in case Jason was coming back. “Listen. Just stay away. I know who you really are.” “Robin?” Jason called again. “Coming, Jason. Just saying goodbye to Emily.” Robin lied as she rushed to him. “I know who you really are too even though Jason and half this town is blind to it. And remind Jason I'll be by next week.” Carly called out after her. Robin paused then hurried on. “Sometimes I'd like to wring her neck and slap her silly but unfortunately we're in a hospital and they'd fall all over themselves to make her better.” Carly crouched down to Michael's level. “Now, Michael remember no matter what Mommy does or says, violence isn't the answer. Revenge is. Okay?” Michael nodded. “O.K.” “Good boy.” “If it was me I would have slapped her anyway.” Emily said behind them. “Emily, what are you doing out of bed?” “It's okay, Car. I only cut my wrist. Why did you let her get away with it so easily?” “I don't. As you can see.” “This isn't the first time you've argued like that?” “Nope, it's not.” And it won't be the last. “And I guess Jason's never around for them?” “No.” And it really ticks me off. “I've never heard Robin talk like that.” “Emily, you were just exposed to the real Robin Scorpio. Not a pretty sight, huh? She's just as petty and human as the rest of us.” “Does Jason know how she is?” “Jason? No! She's never like this around Jason. Somehow Jase has the worst sense of timing in the world because he always manages to walk in just after Robin has laid into me and I'm laying into her. But one day, one day, Jason is going to find out what the Precious Princess of Port Charles is really like.” “I hope so. I've never really liked Robin. There was always this falseness about her, ya know? Mom used to make me hang out with her because she was such a good role model. Ugh.” And I used to hate the way she led Nikolas on. “I know. Now get your butt in that bed before I call Amy in here.” “Get your butt!” Michael repeated. Carly smiled at her son. “You're just a regular parrot today, huh?” Emily sighed. “You don't have to threaten me with Amy. I'll go back to bed.” “Good and I won't forget to give Nicky your message.” “Thanks.”
