Chapter 3

While Robin was speaking to AJ he continued to apply pressure to the wound in 
her chest. While putting pressure on her wound he could feel her heart beating. 
He was relieved that it was a strong steady beat. Robin then told AJ about 
Michael being his son. AJ got so tense and angry at the thought that he pushed 
harder on the wound. AJ was brought back to reality when Robin cried in pain. AJ 
looked at Robin with some anger on his face.

Robin: I understand that my not telling you about Michael being your son has 
made you angry enough to kill me.

AJ reduced the pressure on her. After reducing the pressure he got scared. 
Robin's heartbeat was getting weaker. It was still steady but not as strong. AJ 
was about to respond to Robin when the paramedics arrived and took over for AJ.

Frank: We have a single gunshot wound to the chest. Possible collapsed lung. 
Let’s get her to GH quickly. Let’s remember that she is HIV positive. (Frank 
removes the jacket and starts to work on Robin. She is put on a stretcher. Frank 
puts the jacket into a clean plastic bag and seals it.) Do you wish for us to 
dispose of your Jacket the blood on it is hazardous?

AJ: No I will take care of it.

Frank hands the bag to AJ. As AJ accepts the jacket he notices that AJ hand has 
some blood on it. Frank hands AJ a bottle.)

Frank: Your hands have some blood on it. I would use this solution on it. 

AJ watches the paramedic move Robin toward the ambulance. He is shocked when 
just before she goes into the ambulance Frank suddenly starts CPR on Robin. AJ 
hears Franks voice saying that they have no heart beat. As AJ walks toward a 
nearby sink he is in shock. He barely hears the Strike chant and doesn't see the 
signs go up. He passes Jason who is rushing Carly toward his Limo. As AJ passes 
Carly she sees blood on AJ. Jason and Carly get into the limo and leave. 

AJ goes to the sink and uses the solution and washes his hands very hard. AJ 
stairs as Robin’s blood flows down the drain. After he finished, AJ heads toward 
his car. As he gets into the seat he puts down his jacket and he looks at the 
blood on it.

AJ: You have to be all right Robin. Please God don't let her die.

AJ leaves for GH.
