Chapter 25

AJ and Robin returned to the mansion after meeting with the union officials. 
They arrive as Ned and Edward were talking about settling the strike. Edward 
learns that Ned knew about Jason's demand that AJ give up Michael. Edward asks 
Ned why he would agree to that. 

Ned: It is very important that we settle this strike. 

Edward: But you were willing to allow my grandson to stay with Jason and Carly. 

Ned: Michael would be better off away from this family. 

AJ: You don't have the right to keep my son away from me. You’re a father Ned. 
Would you like it if Lois wanted someone else to be Brook Lynn's father? 

Ned: You could have still sued for custody. 

Robin: You mean lie. 

Ned: Everyone lies Robin. You know that Robin. You have lied. 

Robin: Yes I did and I hated doing it. The strike has been settled Ned without 
that demand. 

AJ: At least Robin wasn't willing to force me to say that I wasn't Michael's 
father. Which is what you were willing to do Ned. 

Edward: That’s right Ned. You don't betray a member of this family. 

Ned: I am sorry AJ. I had no right to do that. 

AJ: I forgive you Ned. Robin would you like to join me for lunch at the Grill? 

Robin: I would love you AJ. 

Robin and AJ leave for the grill. Meanwhile Jason and Carly are at the 
penthouse. There is a knock on the door. It is Renaldo. He speaks to Jason.
