Chapter 4

Just after Lucky took Stone's ring off Robin's finger he noticed that her eyes 
went blank and she stopped speaking. He checked her pulse and breathing. He also 
screamed her name. Elizabeth looked at Lucky. 

Elizabeth: Is she? 

Lucky: No. She is still alive. She has a weak pulse and is still breathing. 

Lucky noticed that Elizabeth was getting upset. He gave her a hug. 

Elizabeth: Where is the ambulance? 

They noticed V joining them. 

V: Mr. Spencer, Ms Webber. What’s going on? (Lucky points at Robin. V comes up 
to her.) Robin? What happened? 

Lucky: Liz and I were walking though the park when we heard a moan coming from 
the bushes. We found Robin there. 

V was taking deep breaths. She knew that she had to stay calm. The only chance 
that they have to catch the person who did this is for her to calm down and do 
her job. 

V: Did she say anything about who did this to her? 

Elizabeth: A man dressed in black wearing a ski mask. Just look at the report of 
the guy who raped me. 

V knelt beside Robin, examining her wound and clothes. She breathed a sigh of 
relief when she saw no signs of rape. Just then the ambulance arrived and 
started treating Robin. 

Paramedic: Breathing very shallow. Blood pressure and pulse is weak. 

The paramedics place Robin on the stretcher and place her on the ambulance. 

Paramedic: Doesn’t look good Detective. The blood on the ground is to be 
considered hazardous. 

The paramedics then leave with Robin. Two uniformed officers arrive and seal off 
the scene. 

V: I want a complete search of the area. I don't want any clue to be missed. (To 
Lucky and Elizabeth.) I would leave now. There is nothing more that you can do, 
Thank you both for your help. (To the uniformed officer.) I will be at GH with 
the victim. 

Lucky and Elizabeth leave. After they leave V picks up her cell phone and makes 
what she knows will be her hardest call.
