Chapter 13

After leaving the PCPD, Mac arrived back at the house. He saw Felicia there. She 
looked at him and Mac saw that she already knew the news. He came up to her and 
gave her a hug. 

Felicia: Bobbie stopped by here and told me and took the girls to stay with her. 
I am so sorry Mac. 

Mac: I can't believe that she is dead. I promised Robert that I would protect 
his daughter and I can't protect her when she takes a walk in the park. I have 
failed Felicia and it has cost me my family. 

Felicia: You didn't fail him Mac. You did what you promised Mac. But sometimes 
it is not enough. 

Mac: I have never been able to protect my family Felicia. I killed my parents in 
a plane crash. And then I couldn't help Robert get Anna back and they are both 
dead. And now Robin> If you and the girls stay with me they you all will die to. 
Leave me. 

Felicia gives Mac a hug. 

Felicia: No Mac. You are my husband. I know that you will protect the girls and 
me. We will never leave you. 

Mac and Felicia sit down together. Meanwhile Monica comes home to the 
Quartermaine mansion. She enters the living room and sees the family there 
looking at her. Edward comes up to her. 

Edward: She didn't make it? 

Monica: No Robin died in the ICU. 

Edward: I know that you did your best Monica. 

Monica: Thank you Edward. Its times like this that I hate being a doctor. Losing 
someone is never easy. But when it is a friend like Robin. 

Edward gives Monica a hug. 

Edward: You are a wonderful doctor Monica. You have saved many people to. Always 
remember that. 

Monica: Thank you Edward. 

The two of them go on talking. Meanwhile the news spreads all over Port Charles 
and a deep sadness fills the city. At P.C.P.D. V and Garcia are about to go over 
the facts in Robin’s case. They are both sad over Robin's being dead but know 
that their job is to catch her killer. They get to work on the case.
