Chapter 23

Nikolas and Emily were sitting on a bench near the spot were Robin was killed. 
Emily listened to Nikolas as he told her about his loving Robin. Emily was then 
shocked when Nikolas told Emily that he was the one who killed Robin. 

Emily: Nikolas, I know that you wouldn't shoot Robin. 

Nikolas: I didn't shoot Robin. But I was the one who killed her in the hospital. 

Emily: What are you talking about Nikolas? 

Nikolas: I went to see Robin in her room at ICU. I told her how much I love her 
and asked her to me with me. At that moment Robin woke.

Emily: I didn't know that Robin woke up. 

Nikolas: She did. She looked at me and called me Stone. She then said that she 
will. After she said that she died. Don't you see Em? If I didn't ask her to 
join me then she wouldn't have given up to join Stone. That’s why I killed Robin 
Em. 

Emily gives Nikolas a hug. Although she knows that he is upset she is enjoying 
it as he hugs her back. She then takes Nikolas' hand and looks into his eyes. 

Emily: Listen to me Nikolas you didn't cause Robin to die. Robin died because a 
person came up to her and shot her. Robin died because of a bullet in her chest 
not because of your love for her. Robin cared for you. She would not want you to 
blame yourself for what happened to her. 

Nikolas: But she thought that I was Stone. That’s why she died. 

Emily: Maybe Stone was really there. I knew Stone Nikolas. He and Robin had this 
special bond. Maybe when Robin woke up she was about to die and did really see 
Stone. Even if he wasn't there you can't blame yourself for Robin's death. The 
person who shot her is responsible. Robin wouldn't want you to blame yourself 
for this. I know that she would be hurt by this. If you love Robin then don't 
cause her pain by blaming yourself. 

Nikolas looks at Emily. As she is speaking he is feeling a spirit with him. He 
feels a message in his heart. It is telling him that he can't blame himself for 
what happened to Robin. And the message is telling him how special Emily is. 

Nikolas: Thank you for being here for me. You are a special person Em. Do you 
mind if I walked you home? 

Emily: Sure. 

Nikolas and Emily walk home together. Meanwhile at the police station, V and 
Garcia arrives back at the station. They have Kenneth Miller with them. They 
come into the room. They join Mac and Taggert who is in the room.
