Chapter 25

Mac watched as he and Taggert followed the plan they had set up to get Miller. 
They knew that they needed a confession in order to get him. They were pleased 
when Miller was willing to tell them the truth. 

Mac: All right. What is it? 

Miller: I raped Elizabeth Webber and the other girls. But I didn’t kill Robin. 

Mac: Why should I believe you? 

Miller: Because it is the truth. Do you want to know why I raped those girls? 

Mac: Yes. 

Miller: I was in love with Robin. But she picked Stone over me. So I decided to 
rape girls who look like her. 

Mac: Maybe when you saw Robin you decided to kill her? 

Miller: I was planning to kill her. But I was planning to do it at the nurse’s 
ball. And then kill myself. So we would be together. I do have an alibi for that 
night. 

Mac: What was it? 

Miller: I was in New York City. I raped a girl in Manhattan. Check with the 
NYPD. And when you check ask them if her cut has healed. 

Mac: Check it out V. 

V then leaves. A few minutes later V comes into the room. 

Mac: Did you run the check on him? 

V: Yes Mac, I called the NYPD. 

Mac: And? 

V tells Mac what she learned.
