Chapter One Luke arrived back in town about two months later. He sat at his desk and glared at the stack of mail on it. “Doesn't’ anyone work here any more?” Luke asked himself and started to go through everything. He got to the last letter and looked at it strangely. “No return address? I wonder what it is?” Luke asked himself and opened the letter. Luke suddenly bolted from the room and ran from the club. The letter was clinched in his hand. Luke drove like a mad man to his house and stormed into the house. “Luke. You’re home. How did the trip with Lucky go?” Laura asked him. “Oh God! Laura tell me that you seen Lucky lately?” Luke asked her. “No, Luke. You called me and said Lucky and you are going out of town to get reacquainted,” Laura said not liking the look on his face. Luke slumped into the chair and said, “Laura. I said good bye to him over two mouths ago. I didn’t call you. I just left.” Luke handed her the letter. Laura read it out laud. “Dear son. You made a mess of this family and before things get any worse, I’m taking charge. Lucky is no longer you concern but mine. He will learn how to be a Spencer one way or another. Larenzo Spencer. No. He can’t do this. He is dead.” Laura said to Luke with horror on her face. “He has. I promise you baby. I’ll find our son and bring him home and I will end that bastard’s life,” Luke said and went to make some calls.
