-Chapter-11-"Victor's Connection" Kevin Collins saw that the door was locked and was about to let them out when he heard the hammer being pulled back on the gun. He turned around and saw that man, Miranda and his father were with. Man: Not another step. Kevin stood there when he saw his father come around the corner. He saw Kevin and went into panic. Victor: Kevin, what are you doing here? Kevin: I could ask you the same thing, Victor. Man: Kevin? Aw, Doc Collins. How nice to meet your acquaintance. Kevin: Who are you? Man: Irrelevant. So, Vic, what do you plan to do about your son? Kevin: Victor, what the hell is going on? Victor did not know what he should do. Kevin had seen the people from the other dimension, he knew where the hideout was… Victor realized he had no choice. Victor: Kevin, come with me. We need to talk. ~"~ Alexis woke up early and looked around. For a moment, she had no idea where she was but then when she saw Tony sleeping on the floor she remembered. She was in a different dimension. She stepped out of the bed and the creaking of the mattress woke Tony up. Tony sat up and looked at the clock. Tony: Your up early. Alexis: No time for sleep. I have to get to V.'s and let her know you know about everything. Tony: Right. Alexis: You and Frisco stayed up pretty late talking. Exactly how long will he be staying? Tony: Only for a few days. I'll see what I can do about getting him to a hotel. Alexis: Your brother picked one hell of a time to visit. Tony: My brother is always good at having impeccable timing. Alexis: Exactly what is my relationship with him? I mean, how do we get along? Tony: Like any regular brother and sister-in-law. Just wing it. Alexis: Right. Alexis started walking while Tony put the blanket and pillow back on the bed. Alexis tripped over something and fell to the floor. Tony: Are you all right? Alexis: Yeah, just fine. Alexis grabbed her ankle because it hurt a little. She put one hand on the floor and felt something. She picked it up and saw that it was a contact. Alexis: Tony, do you where contacts? Tony: No. Alexis looked at it and thought it might have popped out of her eye. Everything looked a little fuzzy in her right now. She didn't wear contacts, tough. ~"~ Lizzie woke up, her stomach aching. She grabbed it as she sat up. Lizzie: Ugh… Sarah: I told you not to pig out. Lizzie looked at her sister who was standing in the doorway of her room. Lizzie: Shut up Sarah, its not my fault… those cookies Jeffery made were too good. Sarah: Well, what do you want to do today? We don't have a meeting until afternoon. Lizzie: How about sleep? Sarah: Come on, Lizzie. You said yourself, we're in the lap of luxury. Who knows how long this could last? Lizzie thought about it for a moment and realized that for once, she was right. Lizzie: All right, I'll get up, but before we do anything how about we go to the Quartermaine mansion and get Em. Sarah left Lizzie alone to get dressed and then they headed downstairs to the main entrance. Emily was standing right there, a blonde woman in her early twenties was standing right next to her. Lizzie: Hey, Emily… who's she? Emily: This is Gina Williams. She was Dr. Burt's assistant and knows what's going on. ~"~ Brenda had gotten out of that meeting with Miranda a little while ago and was now lying comfortably in bed next to Nikolas. Nikolas: Hmm… the beds more comfortable, we should do it here more often. Brenda: Right… Nikolas looked at Brenda who didn't seem to be all there. Nikolas: So, do you think this Miranda's for real? Brenda: As crazy as this parallel universe thing sounds, I think she's telling the truth. Nikolas: So… Alexis Jones and V. Ardanowski are in another dimension… that would certainly explain why she was so out of character yesterday. Brenda sat up and gave Nikolas an evil eye. Brenda: Exactly how do you know so much about her character? Nikolas: Come on, Bren, it was my job to know her character. Did I say anything when you were seducing Alan Quartermaine out of all his money after his divorce with Monica? Brenda: That was different… Well, okay it wasn't any different, as a matter of fact, I probably had more fun considering I could kick Ned and Monica's asses whenever they came by, but still, this whole thing bugs me. Nikolas: Don't worry, I do not care about V. at all. I would never leave you for her. Brenda: Well… I'll just make sure you'd know what you'd be missing if you did. With that, she started to… (This is another moment where you have to use your imagination… :) ~"~ Victor and Kevin were sitting at a table in the observation room. Kevin was still waiting to hear what was going on. Victor: Okay… I don't know where to begin. Kevin: The beginning would be a good place to start. Victor: Very well… you see, Kevin, many, many years ago, I worked for the Cassadines. My job was to design the weather machine and make up its formula… Kevin: What!? You helped the Cassadine's freeze the world? Victor: It was never supposed to go that far. Even before that, though, we were working on designing a dimensional transport. One time, we were testing it and one of my assistants, a Dr. Burt, was sent into another dimension. A permanent rip was created… Kevin: What happened then? Victor: The project was closed down and Mikkos had all our attention focused on creating the weather machine. Kevin: Is there more? Victor: A great deal… while I was working for Mikkos, I… I had an affair with his wife, Helena. Kevin: Helena… the Helena Cassadine? Victor: Correct. The affair lasted for quite awhile and with her I fathered a child, Miranda Jameson. Kevin: Miranda, the same woman you were talking to earlier. Wait, isn't she Jax's ex-wife? Victor: Correct. Helena did not want anyone in the family knowing about her so Miranda was put through boarding school. I would visit her occasionally. I lost contact for her for awhile ever since I became a patient at Oxford but have been speaking to her ever since I starting getting better. Kevin sat back in his chair letting all of this sink in. This was just so unbelievable.
