-Chapter-14-"Nikolas Is Exposed" Venus: Wait a minute… I can't believe I didn't remember this. Everybody looked at her. Luke: What, V? Venus: IT IS ROBIN! When I disarmed Brenda yesterday, she said referred to Robin giving her information about me. She said I wasn't the type of person to disarm a gun. Sarah smiled. Right again… then Sarah's smile faded… what was with all the useful coherent thoughts? She was never like that before. She was now consumed by horror, wondering what was happening to her. No one noticed (who cared?). Then, a buzzer rang. Man: Police are here. Venus went up to the intercom. Venus: All right, I'll be right down. She turned to everyone else and told them to stay put. She took the elevator down and saw Garcia and Taggert in the lobby. Venus: Detectives? Taggert: Ms. Ardanowski, it pains me to have to bring such awful news, but… *starts crying* Garcia, you go ahead, I'm not cut out to tell such sad, heartbreaking stories. Venus: Oh my God, Nikolas isn't dead is he. Taggert: Oh my God, I made her think it's even more tragic and now she's about to find out he's scum. Taggert was balling now and Venus was a little bewildered. Garcia: Taggert, it's okay, wait in the car. Taggert left. Venus: A little sensitive, isn’t he? Garcia: He is a crybaby, but he gets the job done. Venus: Now, what was that about Nikolas being scum? Garcia: Ms. Ardanowski, I hate to tell you this, but Nikolas is working for a secret agency called Scorpion, run by Robin Scorpion. She sent Nikolas as a spy. Venus: Oh my God… how did you find out all this? Garcia: We put two and two together, question people. We had someone else as our first suspect, but decided it would be foolish to just to waste out time pointing everything towards him instead of keeping him in mind and looking into other suspects. This is all definite. I'm sorry. V. felt like fainting… The police here could actually solve a case?!? Garcia: I know this maybe a little hard to believe, but trust me, 9 out of 10 times we usually catch the right guy. Venus: I believe you. Thank you for telling me. Garcia: I'm just bringing you the truth. Garcia left and V. went back upstairs to tell the others. ~"~ Frisco was on the first jet to Greece to see this ice cube his friend pulled out of the ocean. He certainly could not wait to see it. ~"~ Doc slowly watched as some of the ice was melting away, but some of it seemed to be permanent. Worker: Doctor, I'm not sure this is gonna work. Doc: I just want to see their faces, as least. Worker: You know, now that we've gotten a little closer to seeing what they look like, one of them looks like a woman. Doc: It probably is. Hey, I think we're almost there. It was heated up a little more, a thin layer was removed, but it still remained frozen. Worker: Doc, I think that's it. This ice is like permanent. Doc: What about the other ice we melted. Worker: Well, we kept it in a freezer and preserved it. That might have been excess ice. At least we can see a little better. Doc: Right. The doctor went a little closer to the ice and looked at them as best he could. Worker: Oh my God, Doctor… Doc: What? Worker: Look at the male's face. He did. Something looked very familiar. Doc: What is it? Worker: Well, change the hair color and add a few wrinkles, and he looks exactly like you. The doctor saw that he was right! Doc: Oh my God! Worker: What should we do, Dr. Scorpio? Robert looked at the worker. Robert: I have no idea… ~"~ Alexis: OH MY GOD! Venus: I'm sorry, Alexis, but your cousin wasn't very well going to be the same Nikolas you knew. Alexis: No, it's not that… I just can't picture Taggert and Garcia actually solving a case. Luke: I know, blew me away, too! They were all sitting around the table wondering what to do next. Venus: Well, we might as well adjourn the meeting. Nothing new we can do now. The all nodded in agreement and went their separate ways.
