-Chapter-16-"The Game Is On"

Dr. Robert Scorpio kept looking over the tests done on the ice… Why did the 
person inside look so much like him?  And who was that woman with him? Suddenly, 
he heard gunfire.  He looked through the observation window and saw people 
coming in… they were after the object!

Miranda had explained the whole story to Venus… well, most of it.

Venus: So this whole thing was to get someone out of a block of ice?

Miranda: Yes.

Venus: Okay, I can see me and Alexis being sent here, Luke was probably for 
extra help, he has experience, but why the Webber girls? Why Emily?

Miranda:  I would rather not go into that…

Venus: Come on, spill it.

Miranda: There was an old plan, but I decided against it… it was to confuse you, 
okay.  I just decided to be honest and just get this mess over with.

Venus: All right, fine.  So, when is this big chunk of ice supposed to get here?

Miranda: Soon.  Just get the ice machine up and running.

Venus: All right, if it means getting home, I'll do it.  I just have to explain 
it to everybody else first.

Miranda: All right.  I'll meet you here at 7:00.

Venus: Fine, just leave.

Miranda: Exactly what is your problem with me?

Venus: Hmm… what could be my problem?  Well, you send me into another dimension 
WITHOUT MY PERMISSION… there was the whole situation with Jax…

Miranda: Oh, Jax told you about me.  How flattering.

Venus: I wouldn't say that… considering some of the things he had to say about 
you.

Miranda: This coming from the guy who blew me up… all right, I'll be going now.

Miranda left.

Lucky and Nikolas found themselves outside the warehouse.

Nikolas: All right, so we're here.  Now what?

Lucky: We have to get in, without detection.

Nikolas: How?

Lucky: That's where I come in…

They both knew that whatever happened to their family and friends had to do with 
this warehouse and they would not rest until they figured out what was going on.
