Chapter 1

Nikolas and Elizabeth stopped outside the Webber house for a second before going 
in. 

Nikolas: "Are you sure you want me to come in? If Lucky is here…" 

Liz: "Of course I want you to come in! I'm sure Lucky is long gone by now." 

Nik: "Ok…" 

They go inside the house and up to Liz's room, where they find Lucky asleep on 
the floor. 

Liz: "Aww how cute" <~her heart just about melts where she stands, looking at 
Lucky's face, and just the tiny bit of drool on his pillow~> 

Nikolas makes a face then mimics Liz: Awwwwwweewwwwwww… 

Liz: "Shuttap! You'll wake him, and I really think he needs his sleep ok?" 

Nik: "And why is that?" 

Liz frowns: "Well, I'm worried about him, he always looks tired, and he hasn't 
been talking much when I ask him what’s wrong."

Nik: "It’s probably just that Spencer energy wearing out for once." 

Liz makes a face at Nikolas, then bends down to cover Lucky with the blanket. 
She smoothes the hair out of his face, and then gasps.
