Chapter 10

Nikolas looked at Stefan for a second before saying anything. 

Nik: "She's back? What does she want?" 

Stefan: "I don't know. But I want guards on you at all times and I don't want 
you to leave without them, do you understand?"

Nikolas nodded and walked upstairs to his room. He paced for a bit, then decided 
he still needed to do something. He left Wyndemere, forgetting all about his 
guards.

Laura: "What do you want, Helena?"

Helena smiled. Lasha was always so paranoid.

Helena: "I am here to offer my condolences on your dear sweet Lucas… He always 
was a loyal boy."

Laura's anger boiled. How dare this woman throw her son's illness in her face?

Luke: "If I find out you had anything to do with this you witch, I will slit 
your throat!"

Helena jumped. That damn Luke Spencer is always hiding around, even in his own 
house.

Helena: "Luke my dear, I didn't see you. I had nothing to do with your child's 
illness. This is your fault more than mine."

With that she waved and left the Spencer's house with a satisfied smile on her 
face.

Lucky was deep in sleep when the door to his room opened. The figure looked at 
Lucky for awhile as a sad smile played on his lips.

Nik: "Hi Lucky…" The words caught in his throat. He couldn't stand to see his 
brother like this, even if they supposedly didn't like each other. He took 
another look at Lucky. He was pale and sweat was dripping off his forehead while 
he slept. He shivered a bit and Nikolas became aware of how cold it was in the 
room. He pulled the blanket up around Lucky so that he would be more 
comfortable. Lucky stirred a little and opened his eyes.

Lucky (in a hoarse voice): "What are you doing here Cassadine?" His sentence got 
cut off as he began to cough. His throat was killing him and he felt bad all 
over.

Lucky: "Hey, could I get something to drink?" He looked at Nikolas. He couldn't 
believe he just asked a Cassadine to help him.

Nikolas couldn't believe that a Spencer just asked a Cassadine for help.

Nik: "Sure…" He got the glass of water and gave it to Lucky. Lucky tried to take 
a sip but ended up spilling half of it on himself.

Nikolas couldn't contain his laughter as he looked at Lucky's face. Lucky glared 
at Nikolas, and to his surprise started laughing too. He couldn't believe they 
were actually getting along.
