Chapter 14

Laura took a deep breath and looked at the yacht parked in the water. She 
gathered her courage and walked aboard the boat only to be stopped by a burly 
guard. Laura looked up at him and spoke.

Laura: "Tell Helena that Lasha is here. She will be expecting me."

The guard nodded and left while Laura held back a sob. Her world was quickly 
falling down around her.

Liz walked into Lucky's room and smiled. He was sitting Indian style on the bed 
and watching the TV. He looked up and saw her.

Lucky: "Hey beautiful."

Liz's smile got bigger and she walked over and sat on the bed with him.

Lucky: (softly) "I'm glad your here. I've missed you."

Liz: "I've been here for awhile. I came to see you, but you were still sleeping. 
But it looks like you needed it because you look great now." 

She leaned over and kissed him softly on the lips. He smiled and returned the 
kiss. Liz pulled away and stared into his eyes for a few moments.

Lucky: "What's wrong?"

Liz: "You sure you’re ok?"

Lucky smiled.

Lucky: "I'm great. Actually, I'm glad your here. I want to ask you a favor."

Liz: "Anything for you."

Lucky: "Get me out of this hospital."

Luke stepped off the elevator and nodded to a guard standing outside. He gave a 
quick knock at the door and walked in.

Luke: "I need your help."

Jason: "With?"

Luke: "Helena, Cassadines, my son."

Jason looked up at Luke and realized this was not a matter to be taken lightly.

Jason: "What's wrong with Lucky?"

Luke: "Helena seems to think he isn't my son. I need to find out the truth."

Nikolas walked down the stairs to Wyndemere and sighed. No one was home. The 
whole damn castle was silent. He decided to go to the hospital, maybe to visit 
Lucky… and see Liz. He smiled at the thought of Liz. He made his way out the 
door and saw a package sitting on the step. He picked it up and read the note 
contained inside.

Nikolas: "What the hell?"
