Chapter 4 Luke, Jason, Lois and Robin are all at the club, trying to figure out a plan. Luke: Do any of you know anything about this place? Did Brenda ever talk about it? Robin: Quissiter…(thinking…)Wait, I think she did mention it. She said that she always hated that place because it was always cold inside and everything was brick. And, she hated it because the doors didn't have knobs on them, so there was no direct way in. Jason: Then how do you get inside? Lois: There were tunnels, secret tunnels. Brenda, whenever they were there, would sneak out through the tunnels. Her father never knew there was one from her room. Late at night, that is what she would do, walk all through the tunnels. Luke: Why does every creepy person have that stuff in their house? Jason: So if we can find the entrance to one of the tunnels, then maybe we can get into the house. Robin: How are we going to do that without getting caught? Jason: We won't look, my men will. They are discreet and can defend themselves better. And, Maslow doesn't know any of them, neither would Sonny or Brenda. Luke: Good. Meanwhile, we have to figure out what will happen, once we get inside. Jason: I'm calling now. To the house… Maslow: Tell me Sonny, did you really think that Brenda was sweet and pure, a virgin, when you met her? Sonny: I'm not going to sit here and discuss what I felt about anyone with you. Maslow: Brenda, you must be losing your touch. Brenda: I told you over and over, this man, sitting across from me hates me. Whatever he felt in the past is history and he proved that by leaving me on my wedding day. Now, why don't you just let him go and let's get on with it. You don't want him, you want me. Maslow: Oh, I do want you, but I also want to watch you suffer as your ex hears all about your colorful past with me. Sonny: Then spill it, I'm tired of playing this game. If you've got something to say, say it. Maslow: You are demanding. As I was saying before, you were by far the first lover for this little girl. You see Sonny, after Brenda's mother, disappeared into the night, I continued visiting Brenda. Her father was a cruel man and didn't pay much attention to her. I felt bad for her. And I couldn't understand it because she was so beautiful, she's still beautiful. I wanted to be special in her life, I wanted to teach her things, I wanted her to learn from me. but, I especially wanted to make sure she didn't turn out like her mother. Which, I am sorry to say she did. She turned on me and everyone else, just like her whore of a mother. Tell me Sonny, how was Brenda in bed? Did she fulfill your every desire? Did she make you feel like the ground was shaking? Did she, like the song lyric, "light your fire"? Sonny: Wouldn't you like to know? At this point, Brenda is solid stone. She has no emotion on her face, she is staring blankly at the walls, feeling, thinking nothing. She knows what is going on and she knows that it will kill Sonny to hear and she knows that if they get out of this, she will never, ever be able to face him again. Her life was over as far as she was concerned. But, still, she wanted Sonny to have a life, she wanted to save him, like he saved her so many times. She wanted and needed to do the right thing, just then, she recognized something in the room, something she remembered, something familiar… Maslow: I do know Mr. Corinthos. I know, because, while Brenda's mother took to reading her bedtime stories, I took to more physical activity. Sonny felt his stomach turn. He looked at Brenda, who was focusing on something in the distant. He wanted to scream, he wanted to kill this sick bastard for doing the unthinkable to a little girl. He was going to kill this man. He would if it was the last thing he ever did. Maslow: I actually think she quite enjoyed it. And you know, it went on for months, years even. She never fought, never complained, just did what I told her to do. So you see Sonny, everything that my sweet Brenda did to you in bed, or elsewhere, she did to me too. Sonny's face is now bright red. Shear coldness runs through is veins and through his eyes. He feels himself reaching out, trying to get to this devil, wanting to crush his skull with his own two hands, but he can't. He can't move. He is paralyzed, just like he was with Deke, just like he knew Brenda was when she was young. And at the same time Sonny is thinking this… Brenda remembers… Brenda: I know where we are, it is Quissiter. I know how to get out Sonny, I know. To be continued…
